Oooo I love the technique of colour pencils first then markers over the top, definitely came out with a smoother finish. Also, thanks for the shoutout!❤️❤️
Great art work as usual. With regards to water based masker I love them but they are totally different from alcohol markers in use and application so I get that their not for you. I use them for hand lettering which are fab for. To get a non streaky look for colouring it can be done but what you would need to do is use it like water colour either scribble it on some plastic or a pallet then pick it up with a wet brush like watercolour or go over it with a damp brush once coloured and the result should be streak free and you can get wonderful colour blends that way too. Its totally different learning curve from alcohol markers though.
If you hate the markers so much, you can use them like watercolors instead! Put them on a surface that one absorb them (like a pallet or piece of plastic) grab a brush and some water and just paint! The colors will be a bit diluted though so that’ll be something to keep in mind
#1 for using water markers. Dont lift the marker from the paper. #2 work in small concentric circles. #3 Dont overlap to shade until layers are dry. If you want to blend your edge out, use your finger while its wet and swipe it out to blend the edge. #4 use hot press paper, never use textered paper or anything with a fiber to it. Ohuhu makes a wonderful marker paper. Even normal computer paper is good if you dont have good hot pressed paper that isnt textured.
I have a ton of completed beautiful art done with waterbase markers for 30 years that's completely non streaked. It wasn't until I discovered Ohuhu's 2 years ago that I could afford Alcohol markers. So I learned back in the 70's how to use water base markers properly so you didn't get streaks.
Ahhh 😌 I have the markers n colored pencils that my friend got me for my bday. I’ve been avoiding using them like the plague haha cuz I dislike water based markers. Tho I shall use them soon for my friends sake. Might try your techniques lol
Okay so there's a cheap set of twin tip alcohol base markers on Amazon and I kinda want to see you experience with them. They go by Alchilalart twin art sketch markers. I'm more curious about how well they blend
I hate the name of the Crayola's skintone pack. Colors of the world? A little patronizing, but otherwise looks like a genuinely good skin tone variety pack. You can use some rubbing alcohol of some kind to help with the markers.
I like broad line crayola markers i like the skintone set i use in a basic sketchbook but i do think the markers would be better on cardstock/mixed media paper
My opinion: Is it worth it? YES! How many art media brands do you see have something like "Colors of the World"? At the moment, just Crayola. Besides, none of the other brands had a skin specialist help out with creating unique skin tone colors! And it's better than the first "Multicultural" Crayola set, with reused colors from the other media sets!
I once used crayons in my sketchbook, after that they smudge so much my entire sketchbook had small pices that got stuck and colored other pages, it was an nighmare

Your artwork is awesome

Ya!
I like these sets, too. The 32 set is a wal-mart exclusive i think i read, including 8 classic colors for hair and eye colors
I'm super excited :'))

YOU ARE SO TALENTED
I love those artists too!
I always use color pencils and marker's all the time.. but understand marker's can be hard to use. Did great job

Not sure if you noticed the optical illusion you made for the first face?! Is she looking forward or backwards over her shoulder? haha
Looks amazing
Can't wait this is going to be cool. 😎
This was a good video for me because now i know what to expect from my crayon set because i have the same one just mines has less colors.
I can’t watch it now because I’m on my way to school but I’ll watch it when i get home! :D

Great video, thank you.
I love it
The crayola set you got is the “deluxe pack” whereas Waffles got the regular pack
The one with 3 sets?
This is so nice
I got the pencils and the markers and I love them! As I’ve grown up, I hate the texture of crayons on my hands and I hate it.

Oh yeah my baby sister got some of these idk what I think about them 🤔
In new Zealand we only have Crayola 24 Colors of the world crayons, markers, and pencils no Crayola 32 Crayons
I like broad line crayola markers i like the skintone set i use in a basic sketchbook but i do think the markers would be better on cardstock/mixed media paper
I m ur biggest fan
I'm viewer #1000! 🤯🤯🤯🥳🥳🥳🥳

Why no tutorials

As a left handed person I feel enraged that they went out of their way to have the spirals on their drawing side 😔
I think Crayola Colors of the World are for kids or very beginners. You learn with these and then move onto expensive.
I once used crayons in my sketchbook, after that they smudge so much my entire sketchbook had small pices that got stuck and colored other pages, it was an nighmare
The colored pencils are grest
I hate the pencils, because they give a strange texture
And no a fence but I’ve seen better with crayola
It’s just not your type, ahuhu is
