@@whirlofbliss5925 the arches are Built with stone mostly from outside (no red bricks), the idea being they would dig the lode into a large chamber then instead of hauling all the waste rock out they would build an arch and pile the waste rock on top of it, so yes they would have had miners and masons working in the mines along with blacksmiths etc, there is a lot of documented history on the place
@@MidWalesMineExplorers I don't believe the narrative because it doesn't make any sense to build elaborate anything in order to blow it up for mining .The structure was there already . I will still enjoy your explorations , if it's OK with you that I see the world differently .cheers
