    I have an '87. The starter is easy to R&R on the 4-banger. Plenty of room on the passenger side of the motor. Damn things run forever.

    Where you get your starters ? The remanufactured starters I been getting from autozone or o’rileys are not very good

    How long that one last? I got mine 3 years ago now having problems now

      mine is acting up now , under 3 years . i have replaced it twice . mine drags when first starting even on battery i assume is good because i may have drove it the day before . but after initial startup drag in the morning it starts fime all day long without issue so hugh . can't figure it out . whats yours doing ?

      Ya mine will grind every once in a while but my positive battery cable I think is bad and also got new alternator bit its not allway puming out 14v if the cable gets moved the volts change thinking doing the big 3 upgrade hopefully that helps it
