I like how you got to the root of Wood Elves gameplay. I'm glad you explained some of the branching information for each unit. Not to be sappy, but your videos really make my day. I guess you could say the Wood Elves bark is just as bad as their bite. I'll leaf now...
For the late game army specifically, I personally prefer dropping the Forest Dragons for Tree Men and replacing one of the Waywatchers with a Waystalker hero and one of the Blade Singers for a Branchwraith. Just for a few extra buffs for their respective units.
Pretty sure you're wrong about their air force. They've got Forest Dragons, Eagles, Archers on Eagles, and a buttload of flying lords and hero options. Not to mention, legit archers to help win anti-air duels!
Interesting note on sisters is that they’ll fire at targets in melee who they’re not currently engaged with. Not sure on other riders because it’s much more visually apparent with the sisters.
One more bit on Drycha is she gets a limited use summon with Dryads. Which when fully upgraded you get 3 uses and no limit on deployment range. So menace below redux and alot of extra units are pretty great.
Put in work help rob Kali ma Durga before she makes us all one with a bbq pit. Nah mean look and be afraid. Rob her not flatter her with an Indiana jones movie.
I don't really understand why you position the wardancers in front of the treekin, aren't the treekin made for absorbing charges? The wardancers are pretty frail in my opinion and better for a well timed flank
I went through few legendary campaigns, and always managed to micro my ammunition relatively easily. And cavalry is easy to intercept with your own. In fact, it will usually do much better job protecting your archers than infantry.
Drycha with all her special units. Maybe Orion with his busted ability to have 0 upkeep on all his armies right now, although hopefully they'll release a patch for that.
Hi. Do you know why my legendary lords have half the health and damage? It's just that I watch different videos, and for example the sisters of twilight have 360 damage, and I have 190. Or nakari . He has 8000 health and 560 damage. In the video. I have half as much
I would like to criticise your method of building early-mid-late game armies, that creates way unrealistic armies and only takes into accout unit tiers, and not how easily accessible really some units in the game. That leads sometimes to last part of the video being just a "checkbox" for video structure while remaining useless for actual game situations, where player can build much more versatile army from the start of the game. Too bad the series are already over :(
Bears... have less charge bonus than wolves? Huh... I guess it's because bears are slow??? I'd much rather have a wolf bump into me than a bear. A bear would bowl me over like a bowling pin, killing me with just its weight. A wolf might shove me, even push me over.

Yeah I hope Nagash takes your soul
I hate when people do this, hopefully we’ll get to the root of this problem…
@@GamblingGatorwho hurt you
He’s probably glade you liked the video
Playing the Wood elves, you take lessons from the Vietcong:
Stay in the trees, shoot from ambush, kill the enemy before they even know where you are.

17:19 The sister of thorn riding the air killed me haha
I hoped that someone else saw it xD
Glade captain does have antilarge. A big distinction.

I love the bit at the end, but Drycha can't reliably use the Elven units like that.

Durthu my beloved
He really is the best grumpy treeman.
Optimus Pine
The fool has no balls.

A troll pays taxes. A real troll orders it.
I appreciate such a thorough rundown of the army. My only request is a slow down button 🤣 my brain can't absorb knowledge as fast as you talk
You can make a video slower by .75x or .5x by pressing the gear icon on youtube

Kernow is a great holiday destination hunter.
I prefer 10 waywatchers and 9 treekin it takes less micro then the nightmare you have
no cav in the army comps are u mad ????
His micro is weak
Good
why would you ever need frontlines, when your archers can move while shooting (not to mention obliterate anything before it comes close)?
Cav and you will use all your ammo
You will def need frontlines but personally I wouldn't just spam that many frontline infantry, their cav is pretty good too

Durthu is the best WE LL. I will hear no other opinions.

@@rodh1404does not need to be patched.
you missed the malevolent spirit units...
yeah and there were no drycha army comps, drychas armies are mostly composed of forest spirits with elves being fodder.
The only difference between them and their normal counterparts is that they all have frenzy and are tinged purple.
@@discountplaguedoctor88 Frenzy makes them pretty good.

Because you're not playing on ultra unit size

You realise this is a battle guide, not campaign guide.... in battle mode, you can just buy the units you want to use.
I lov wood elves
The hunter has become a chicken with a gun at his head tree spirits- your god sucks eggs Drycha.
WAT THE HEEEYUUUUUL OH MY GAHHHHD
The beastmen have a new Creation, the whatever the fuck that is
I really like the wood elves but I hate how they work on the campaign map, being confined to the forests etc. 😔
There are plenty of mods to fix that
male and female glade lords are identical in single player, they only have different abilities in multiplayer
🔥👍💪

Charge bonus also takes unit mass into account. So even if the stats say the charge bonus for wolves is higher than bears, it's quite the opposite.
I disagree with most of your amry comp
