AnimeKB It had been at least a year between Clem leaving Richmond and finding the Ranch. A lot can potentially happen in that amount of time, like (for example) several other communities potentially taking advantage of The New Frontier’s weakened state and either attacking them back for revenge against Joan’s secret raids or just to take what resources the community had left after the Walker herd had its fun. Javi could also suggest to just let AJ remain at the Ranch if the boy was happy there, but then again Clem would’ve ignored that cause too much emotional baggage to just let him leave her life after all the friends & protectors she’s lost. Would’ve either gone deeply depressed or angrily insane had she failed to get AJ back. Sorry, nitpicking here.
Who could this b if I'm being honest from playing it the whole day the story is probably been the best it's been at some moments but the towers and krypt atm is grinding hell but there's patches soon but the combat hasn't really changed much it's still like X/10 but polished although there is moments where the gameplay feels slow but maybe that's certain characters I'd give it a 8/10 tbh
Agreed, story isn't that good. There are too many times when the characters have long exposition dialogue, also wasted opportunities for some truly hype interactions (ex. Raiden vs Dark Raiden, Baraka vs D'Vorah, etc.)

I think Violet gets more of a pass on her behavior than Jane. Violet was like all the students, troubled at one point. Sure she's all edgy and shit at first but she ends up being okay when you get to know her. Jane on the other hand is a lone wolf who thinks her way is the only way with some sort of issue with anyone besides clem. Getting to know her only means that her "My name is not important" kind of attitude is all that is there. Not to mention she resorts to cowardice and shit morals when the going gets tough. Then at the end of it all, when she does get her way, she 'leaves' clementine if you choose her ending.

Everything about it was a break from the Telltale formula (new engine, first person perspective, open world aspects, stuff like that), and TFS and Batman were really good games, which were all done under the auspices of a new CEO and management that was trying to reinvent Telltale. It was too little too late unfortunately.

It is safer to contain and restrain her away from others just in case her injuries kill her. Tenn tried to enter the room they put her in, knife in hand (just in case she turned). To your point, if AJ was in there too, he could have alerted them if she became a walker.

No, that's not how it works actually. The infection has to be direct, so a walker bite, or dying. If you chop off your leg with an axe that has just been used to kill a walker, it will not infect you because it isn't actually entering your bloodstream, it isn't in your veins.

I think Violet gets more of a pass on her behavior than Jane. Violet was like all the students, troubled at one point. Sure she's all edgy and shit at first but she ends up being okay when you get to know her.
Jane on the other hand is a lone wolf who thinks her way is the only way with some sort of issue with anyone besides clem. Getting to know her only means that her "My name is not important" kind of attitude is all that is there. Not to mention she resorts to cowardice and shit morals when the going gets tough. Then at the end of it all, when she does get her way, she 'leaves' clementine if you choose her ending.

Biggest problem with this series is all the stories and characters Telltale abandoned. Remember Bonnie, Mike, and Arvo? What about Christa? What happened to her? Overall I love this series but man I'd love to have gotten closure on these characters

Everything about it was a break from the Telltale formula (new engine, first person perspective, open world aspects, stuff like that), and TFS and Batman were really good games, which were all done under the auspices of a new CEO and management that was trying to reinvent Telltale. It was too little too late unfortunately.
