You made some great points in this video and while I previously didn't see that big of a difference between jury styles, seeing them compared in one video like this makes it a lot more defined and obvious in the differences. Nicely done!
Not a jury question segment, but this video reminded me of how hilarious the comments all the houseguests made during the final voting of Celeb BB 3. A pure train wreck season, and it sounds like that concept may rightfully be done.
CBB3 was trending with hundreds of thousands if not millions of tweets during the jury votes and days after, that's pure exposure which are good for ratings.
Not hard to imagine. Ku Klux Barbie was one of the comp-beasts of the season (the only reason Andy & McCrae tied her for the overall season was because she was eliminated before they got most of their wins) and it's pretty much universally agreed GM gave the worst jury performance of all time (she makes Derek F look like Andy or Dan by comparison), so Militia Malibu Stacy wins pretty much 9-0. Even Candice would pick her over GM.
@@davidmernick7360 Although I agree with your claim that Aaryn would easily win that final 2, I can't help but think that @Penndawt's comment was intended to make us think about how badly they could have been called out on finale night much like BB21 Jackson was. lol

I appreciate you being a member so thank you, for real! And if I had a personal favorite it would have to be Marvin's from BB5 solely because he really held nothing back and tried to hit it where it hurt with both Drew and Cowboy
No, Josh was really really unlikeable and was just not good and won because did the jury hated Paul, that’s it. Paul played one of the best games ever! He was robbed and that’s that.
@@Mikey_Mike1 hey, that’s fair. I was sad about iOS jury answers. If he would’ve owned instead of beating around some answers and not just saying hey, y’all are great people but I love played this game before and this a game and that’s what I came here to play. The objective is to evict people and keep myself in and I felt I had to make the moves I did to ensure myself sitting in this spot and give me the best chance at the money. Then, he should’ve went in on Josh’s lack of game play and only playing with emotions and making it personal. As much as I did believe he played one of the best games. Like, man he ran the season, he didn’t seal the deal in the end. It sucks worst when you have somebody like Josh. I think that’s why I’m more like ugh why!
I feel the switch to live jury questions was annoying. Like, BB20 was the pinnacle of it. We spent 6-7 minutes watching Bayleigh get proposed to, then Julie is like and the jury votes are tylerkayceetylerekayceetylerkayceetylerkaycee AND GRATS Kaycee. yikes. Can't they do jury questions the afternoon of the finale, then vote live?
I think the worst move was moving from everyone getting to ask a question to only a few “group questions” for each juror. They’re the same questions every year. “Which big move did you make on your own?” “Why do you deserve to win over the person next to you?” Blah, blah, blah. It’s exactly why you talk about almost every early season in this video and almost none of the later seasons.
I'm late to the party on this video. But you missed my favorite jury question ever. Renny in bb10 "Memphis...name one thing you did for me in the game. Go." 🤣🤣
I saw an old bb7 live feed clip where will/boogie explained that Hardy pretended he was upset with Nicole in hopes of tricking Will into not nullifying his vote. Thanks for the vid g
The jury questions definitely pummeled into a dark pit once they started making them scripted. If I'm on that jury, I have my own personally reasons for why I'm voting/not voting for someone and I have my own personal relationships with the final 2 and I need clarification on them before I can make my decision. Why do I have to say "We as a jury feel..." Also, they should still give every jury member a chance to ask a question again. Spend less time on the finale's showing us the competitions and give us more time with the jury. They're the ones that are determine who gets half a million dollars! At the same time, I understand how some of the jury questions got out of hand in the earlier season and the producers probably wanted to gain some control over that. However, can you not just have the jury members tell the producers what they want to ask and then approve or deny them? There's other ways to go about it where we can still get fiery jury questions.
am i wrong or weren't there plenty of clips from the live feeds showing jackson & jack being blatantly racist, misogynistic, etc.? insane that jackson won the show.
I got to say, this video topic feels rather appropriate, refreshing, and fitting given some of the brutal jury questions we recently saw in Celebrity Big Brother 3. ...Oh, wait....
I thought Ameerah’s question to Taylor was shady by talking about her showmance with Monte in front of Joesph. Was that really what surprised her the most out of the entire season? 🤨🙄
I agree with you ethanimale, Jury questions have become yawn fests. They keep these players locked up for 99 days, tv and live feeds, yet the finales are usually rushed and the jury doesn’t even get to ask questions. At this point they may as well let the jury go home and watch the show like they did in the early seasons. I feel robbed each season.
If Big Brother (and of course I mean Allison Grodner) really love the live finale that much, the least they could do is utilize a sort of hybrid system where the jury questions are prerecorded like they used to be, then they can do a much shorter questioning focusing on gameplay similar to the ones they do now and the voting and the reading can all be done live. The current format is just not good for the show as it is, and the hybrid system would honestly give us the best of both worlds. (Especially if the rumor that the format was changed this way during season 11 to help Jordan win is true, no reason at all to do it anymore.)
I remember Martin vividly He was a total straight shooter. I didn't always like him, but I respected the hell out of him because he looked you in the face and said what he wanted and felt and could conversely take what you had to say if you were honest and real and respectful about it. I wish he had made it further his season/ would come back for another
TBF everything about BB13 is cringeworthy. Also, the BB19 jury questions were great if only because everyone was all "Congrats Paul - You made yourself look like a complete idiot. If Josh and Christmas could play you for fools two weeks in a row, why should we vote for YOU?"
Man a number of things I want to say about these seasons: 1. Man I forgot about Marvin's questions in BB5, like damn I am amazed I didn't remember them..... 2. You know I definitely understand how people could not like Dick or Dani from BB8, especially given how obnoxious Dick could be, but like am I missing something here? I still find it strange that there was that much hate for the two of them given that they did play a pretty solid game and they won quite a number of challenges. I admit I have not watched much of this season but the hate from the jury seemed a little overblown imo 3. BB21's questions are so frustrating because on one hand they tried to address the awful things that were said and done but like you said the way they did it was so weird, wishing we got a more satisfying conclusion 4. BB23's questions were not brutal but watching Derek try to make a case for himself thinking he had any shot was amusing to say the least lol
@@madgds I believe Dick did that to Jen, I also remember him pouring a cup of soda or coffee or something on her at one point. @@madgds also I remember wanting Danielle to win simply because I felt like she has the brains to latch onto her Dan, and sort of like Jun with Allison make him be even more hated than her. Dick was far worse on the feeds than he was on the edited CBS episodes. He used to walk around the house threatening to r*pe and m*rder the female contestants. He would also make racist and homophobic comments to people.
The satisfaction of knowing David got 8th place in 22 over Jack in 21 after the shit they put him through is so damn cathartic. Marvin though, I wasn't following BB at the time, but knowing that he was willing to fight Cowboy over that. It makes me wonder. They heard about all of the backlashes, but outside of the 50% mandate, they haven't done any changes to the game people have complained about regarding the finale and the jury questioning. Because I loved 19 & 21's finale but everything good about it needed way more time. Wonder why?
Really all of BB is manufactured now... it is Julie giving spoon fed lines instead of experiencing the game with us... we have manufactured diary room lines instead of what the players were thinking or feeling during thay moment or how the house is impacting them. Survivor is the same way now..... when you miss that raw face to face experience and give people a chance to think or give parameters/format that will always make the jury tame or tamer
They are trying to turn big brother into a weird scripted the hills type show when it was perfect before they started feeding them lines. I hope they go back
I'm wondering if ppl are less brutal with their questions these days bc they know the immediate and overwhelming backlash they could, no, _will_ get online regardless of how many ppl agree or disagree with what they said. I respect the "imma make you sweat but still end up voting for you" type of questions
Its because that season had the weird thing where each F2 member could nullify one jury vote. Hardy wanted to appear mad at Nicole so Will wouldn't nullify his vote
@@morbidpanda25 ohhh that’s right, I always forget about that whole thing
@@Ethanimale Same, felt like that was what Monica did as well, and you have to appreciate her comments as she revealed her vote, iconic!!!!
I think it’s absolutely rich that Joshuah of all people was telling Adam to be respectful when Joshuah literally mocked another houseguest for having a parent that took their own life.
The whole BB4 finale is such a mess, which is why it's my favorite BB finale of all time.
Jun is honestly one of my favorite players ever. The 2nd most hated person in the house making an alliance with the most hated and subtly making her do all the dirty work.....HAHAHA
chicken george on all stars is really one of the all time most entertaining players and im so glad they chose to include him because he added so much to the season despite basically none of it being game related lmaoo
Peter being brutal towards Villian just made me love him more as a player and personality
I find myself going back and forth on Peter, but I will say I very much do enjoy the theatrics and making a scene is always good tv and Peter made an effort to make good tv
peter sucks
Peter was just extremely bitter because he thought he had it in the bag and was upset Jill made final 2.
CBB3 is definitely one that comes to mind. People were eyerolling and throwing shade left and right
Imagine how the BB15 would've been had it been Aaryn & Gina Marie in the Final 2.
Had KKK Barbi not gotten evicted from her Dream House, she probably would have fielded the same question as Cowboy.
@@davidmernick7360 the nicknames you gave to them LOL i love this
@@ohandthefracking They were both just Aaryn. I couldn't think of any good nicknames for GM.
@@davidmernick7360 Although I agree with your claim that Aaryn would easily win that final 2, I can't help but think that @Penndawt's comment was intended to make us think about how badly they could have been called out on finale night much like BB21 Jackson was. lol
I thought I knew Big Brother well, but I did not remember how brutal Marvin's jury questions were. How on earth did I not remember Marvin's jury questions??
you should do a video on the history of house meetings! (i.e. dans funeral, devin’s bb16 meeting)
we always hear how house meetings are always drama but i’d be super interested in seeing all of them side-by-side
This is why I love the RUclips comments section. This is an incredible idea that I had not thought of, thank you! This 100% will be a video at some point
And BBCAN 6 had like 85 house meetings lol
@@Ethanimale yesss please!!!
That would be great! Bb20 is the most memorable one for me. Bayleigh is the only one to leave a meeting injured and still fighting
@Kristian Yeager I think Derrick lowkey called a house meeting in BB16 and it turned out great for him
@Ethanimale Thank goodness you made a video talking about how lame the Jury questions has become. I hope CBS see this and let the Jury question segment be as real and raw as it used to be. THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO
I actually do agree that I don't think the structured format of the jury questions that Big Brother has stuck to really works for the show. It takes away an element of drama that is sorely missing from Big Brother and it does it absolutely no favors
michie face when he was call out on being racist said alot about the family he come from that you and your friends can said and do things and dont know its racist thats like me hitting some one in the face and get surprise when they get mad
lets not act like michie wasnt literally a terrible person here asgnaiughasg like yes some allegations were surface level without much evidence, but being biased also includes DOWNPLAYING his actions.
THANK YOU! also I love ur pfp. Star >
It is so good to see that you have so many members now! Keep up the good work like always! Also, I know you mentioned which one you thought was the most brutal, but do you have a personal favorite out of all these clips you showed, and if so, why?
I appreciate you being a member so thank you, for real! And if I had a personal favorite it would have to be Marvin's from BB5 solely because he really held nothing back and tried to hit it where it hurt with both Drew and Cowboy
I normally dont like people commenting over a vid but this guys voice isnt annoying or anything and he makes the vids more interesting
I appreciate your willingness to give my voice a chance
@@Ethanimale no problem
Sometimes I'm kinda glad Paul didn't own their game. It gave just the Josh win 😀
Uh oh dallas
@@TrueGamerBasement uh oh Lucas
No, Josh was really really unlikeable and was just not good and won because did the jury hated Paul, that’s it. Paul played one of the best games ever! He was robbed and that’s that.
@@jacobmccain8794 if Paul played the best game why didn’t he just say that and own his moves?
@@Mikey_Mike1 hey, that’s fair. I was sad about iOS jury answers. However, I will say not owning his moves doesn’t negate him making the moves and playing such a great strategic and manipulative game.
We need a Survivor video like this!!! There’s so many moments just from season one.
Topaz’s vote in BBCan1 is the most brutal anything in BB history.
And that’s 150% secured
This video is so good lol I love the clips you chose
Thz for posting. Bringing back some memories yikes bb can be so controversial 😅
!! yes please
They can't do that because Part 3 of the Final HOH is done live on the show.
Cbb3 deserved an honorable mention. Love these videos!!
todrick did stuff
I have two wonderful black nephews 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Subbed! I thought I already had, my bad! Hope you get that 10k soon, it's well deserved!
Oh shit someone already said this now this looks dumb
Bb7 live feeds were better than any bb season 😉
@@JOEE519 fr, I’ve probably watched 40 hours worth of them on RUclips
@@ctfun9758 I love it
I miss when the jury questions were pre recorded. With them feeling live, it just feels like production wrote them and they have to rush.
2 clutches in one day? Massive W
That ending though “Um um um” I’m sorry, but how did GinaMarie get to the final 2 again? 🤣
If I'm ever on a reality show with a jury, I will ask try to ask a hard hitting question.
Paul literally orchestrated each and every bullying moment on that season. &that’s why he ain’t win either season
The jury questions have gotten more boring on survivor too, it’s a shame. I miss them being able to go in on the finalists.
The jury questions definitely pummeled into a dark pit once they started making them scripted. If I'm on that jury, I have my own personally reasons for why I'm voting/not voting for someone and I have my own personal relationships with the final 2 and I need clarification on them before I can make my decision. Why do I have to say "We as a jury feel..."
Also, they should still give every jury member a chance to ask a question again.
Celebrity Big Brother 3 & BB21 jury were brutal which made for really great drama!
Why did BB producers suck the flavor out of the jury questioning 😭 😭
am i wrong or weren't there plenty of clips from the live feeds showing jackson & jack being blatantly racist, misogynistic, etc.? insane that jackson won the show.
You deserve more subscribers
Yes please let’s go back to individual jury questions. Same with Survivor! Some of the best moments come from these
I got to say, this video topic feels rather appropriate, refreshing, and fitting given some of the brutal jury questions we recently saw in Celebrity Big Brother 3.
...Oh, wait....
I thought Ameerah’s question to Taylor was shady by talking about her showmance with Monte in front of Joesph. Was that really what surprised her the most out of the entire season? 🤨🙄
Michies face getting red just screams guilty lmao
Ugh I love round tables SO MUCH!
I ain’t know they were eating people up like this on big brother back in the day lol💀
How could you leave out CBB 3??? Todrick was one of the most controversial players ever.

Gina Marie clip at the end killed me😂
June’s response was top tier.
(Currently) Survivor jury segment >>>> Big Brother jury segment
If Big Brother (and of course I mean Allison Grodner) really love the live finale that much, the least they could do is utilize a sort of hybrid system where the jury questions are prerecorded like they used to be, then they can do a much shorter questioning focusing on gameplay similar to the ones they do now and the voting and the reading can all be done live. The current format is just not good for the show as it is, and the hybrid system would honestly give us the best of both worlds. (Especially if the rumor that the format was changed this way during season 11 to help Jordan win is true, no reason at all to do it anymore.)
Marvin is a legend 🔥🔥
I remember Martin vividly
He was a total straight shooter. I didn't always like him, but I respected the hell out of him because he looked you in the face and said what he wanted and felt and could conversely take what you had to say if you were honest and real and respectful about it. I wish he had made it further his season/ would come back for another
🤣🤣🤣This is why I now watch my fellow Canadians rather than the US version of big brother we are a brutal bunch when provoked 😂😂😂😂😂
TBF everything about BB13 is cringeworthy.
Also, the BB19 jury questions were great if only because everyone was all "Congrats Paul - You made yourself look like a complete idiot. If Josh and Christmas could play you for fools two weeks in a row, why should we vote for YOU?"
Chelsia is yelling at Ryan like she is on Maury
YOU ARE NOT THE BROTHER!!
Bella and Kemi slayed.. They didn't come to play around.
Alex’s question to Paul in BB19 gets me every time.
You should do one of the best zingbots! Def include Jordan's from bb13 and nicoles from all-stars (22 i think)
Could have included BBCAN6 Kaela questions I'm sure lmao.
"horrible answer" ok? she still won
Man a number of things I want to say about these seasons:
I admit I have not watched much of this season but the hate from the jury seemed a little overblown imo
3. BB21's questions are so frustrating because on one hand they tried to address the awful things that were said and done but like you said the way they did it was so weird, wishing we got a more satisfying conclusion
4. BB23's questions were not brutal but watching Derek try to make a case for himself thinking he had any shot was amusing to say the least lol
Didn't Dick burn a cigarette on a woman inside the house? I feel like they were an awful father daughter duo that no one wanted to award.
@@madgds I believe Dick did that to Jen, I also remember him pouring a cup of soda or coffee or something on her at one point. He also pretty much followed her around insulting and laughing at her for pretty much everything she did.
Granted she gave as good as she got. It was a very hate/hate relationship
@@madgds also I remember wanting Danielle to win simply because I felt like she has the brains to latch onto her Dan, and sort of like Jun with Allison make him be even more hated than her.
I liked Danielle more her 2nd and 3rd time in the house, I think she matured and became a better player for it
Dick was far worse on the feeds than he was on the edited CBS episodes. He used to walk around the house threatening to r*pe and m*rder the female contestants. He would also make racist and homophobic comments to people.
The jury was so bitter towards Dani, it still makes me so mad
Survivor is the same way now..... when you miss that raw face to face experience and give people a chance to think or give parameters/format that will always make the jury tame or tamer
that nerdy guy on bbcan1 is super embarrassing
Understatement
Dr Will , I can’t help loving him,he is so cool 💕
WOW!!! Did Marvin really go there!!!
They are trying to turn big brother into a weird scripted the hills type show when it was perfect before they started feeding them lines. I hope they go back
Poor Paul........all he had to do was fess up and admit that he did everything to win the game. But, he couldn't do it !
ugh bb 21 was a nightmare
I'm wondering if ppl are less brutal with their questions these days bc they know the immediate and overwhelming backlash they could, no, _will_ get online regardless of how many ppl agree or disagree with what they said. Social media wasn't as big of a deal in the 2000s and ppl weren't as hypervigilant in the early 2010s

14:59 - Peter made a fool of HIMSELF. He poisoned the jury against her and Emmett, just because he was butthurt over being booted. His jury question was unnecessarily rude, and he gave his jury vote to someone who WAS ALREADY EVICTED.
