Hello, thanks for sharing. I’m also in zone 8B, and I’m growing bougainvillea this year . I’ve had it since June, so it took a month to established roots after transplanting to my plant pot. then it put on a nice show of blooms. Then the blooms went away, foliage also went away, so I clipped it back a little . Question is : is that how it grows - bloom, go bare , then regrow again, then bloom again?
Hi I love your videos thank you for all the great tips...I want it to ask..I have about 5 Juniper trees small, but the are turning brown...any recommendation??
Thank you, I am glad to be useful. Juniper turning brown could be many reasons: not having enough water, poor drainage, spider mites, blight infection, too close planted smaller plants around or too close to the wall and doesn't get equal sun light. We are getting into cold season, maybe I will do a video on evergreens care, issues etc soon.
@@aridon1981 thanks 🙏. How long can I expect it to take to see blooms. I'm afraid I might have given them root rot, I have them placed in two half cut whiskey barrels and just recently drilled drainage holes two days ago. I was just going to buy my new plants and soil tomorrow but if they're revivable it'd definitely be cheaper.
What a wonderfull plant ..congrats
I just got the same plant and plan to keep it in a container! I live in Southern California and was curious on how often to water?

Hi,
No it only drops leaves during the winter time. Try to change the location, maybe it’s too hot\ sunny or too much water?
Pretty flowers

I would like to save them.
Thank you!
@@PR12379 sure, I understand that. Check for insects, check the light access and drainage. Good luck.
How many times a week do u water in 100° degrees??? I watered mine once a day heavily and they all stopped blooming.
Every other day.

Can it stay in a dark garage or will it die without light?
They need lots of sun, and all plants will die without light.
Mine died after I kept it in the garage during winter, then I researched I need to keep it indoors near a sunlit window.

Which fertilizer using???
I normally use whatever I have at home. All purpose fertilizer 10-10-10 or the fertilizer for flowering trees 2-10-10.
