Great! I have that kit of MiG21MF, built in East German airforce 1980s camouflage!
Thank you :)
A Cold War classic. Camouflage paint jobs are really the best looking ones!
I totaly agree :)
Great!!!! 🤩
Thanks :)

Wonderful work, Dragan. Still a worthy kit after so many years.
Thank you.The fijimi kit despite it being innacurate is a real joy to work on.
🙌🏻 Bravo! Very we’ll done. Best regards! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍻
Thanks a lot :) glad you like it :)
Awesome build, finish and video. Thanks for sharing! Your single 33 minute video has as much information as many other builder's series of 3, 4 or more videos.
Thank you JK.I am really glad you like it.I try to put everything in a video that is at most half an hour long.
nice model, stay healthy !
Thank you.You as well :)
Freehand camouflage looks better then stenciled camouflaged. It seems more authentic.
Thanks BennyCFD.I agree completley. That is why I always freehand all of my models. It was done like that on the real thing in 1:1 so I see no point in masking it in 1:72 :D
Really impressing results, I especially admire your skills painting this difficult camo on freehand without masks and still getting such coherent color transitions. The weathering is super nice too - bravo!
Thank you Tom ;) glad you like it
That is really excellent work. Love the complex camo scheme very well done. A great looking Mig21.
Thank you ChancerNw.I appreciate your input.
Hi, perfect work with airbrush.
Thank you ;)
Great video, Dragan :) Love your free-hand paint camo, especially at this scale. MIG-21 rules ;)
Thank you Chavdar ;)
Really nice work. I'm a little bit jealous of your free hand air brush skills.
Thank you very much.Don`t be.With a bit of practicing anyone can do it.
Another beautiful kit and excellent video!
Thank you!:))
Thank you Andras ;)
I made the 48 version from Eduard went with the metal finish, but that camo you did is superb great work my friend...
Thank you.I also built two 1:48 eduard models years ago and have 3 more in the stash :D
Great. I hope to see some Gulf War plane; desert camo are gorgeous. Thank you
Thank you.I might do something like that in the future ;)
Nice work my man
Thank you :)
Beautiful build 👍
Thanks :)
Nice build.....
Thank you :)
👍👍👍✌️🇭🇷
I have the Italeri boxing of this Fujimi kit. Your result was amazing👍🍺I hope mine will come somewhere near yours (I doubt it😂)
Thank you.I am sure yours will be great in the end.
Stars at 29:13 are upside down! :O
Yes yhey are :D i noticed it when i took the photos of the model.
Just followed you on Instagram.
Thank you ;)
Bello 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Thanks :) cheers
What a superb build that is. Lovely camo work indeed. Loved the chipped effect. I had 2 small questions:
1. When you dry brush the cockpit parts like seat and IP how do you ensure that the paint doesn't get onto other unwanted parts because I have seen some extremely fine work like switches etc. painted in just a few seconds of dry brushing
2. How long do you allow the ink wash to dry before wiping it off?
Thank you Sherbir.Well if you mean about the dryrbushing I am really trying to strip most of the paint of the brush before I do that.ussualy on a piece of toilet paper.Stroking the brush until it leaves no trace of paint. And then I do it to the model. The ink wash I leave to dry for 3-4 minutes at most and then wipe it off.It dries really quickly and that is one of the reasons I am using it to this day.
I like that scheme! Russian jets always look good in desert camo.
I agree with you. ;) thanks for the interest.
At the end could not tell it is Fujimi with all shape issues. To me it is mig-21bis alright
Indeed :D I will do another one and a third one for sure :D
First of all well done for your builds. I wish to ask you a question, hat did you use on the canopy? ( brushing light coat of future ).
Thank you Patrick.I used johnsons future floor wax.You can find it in europe or thr use under the name of pronto,pledge,glanzer,quickshine... you can also use AK Interacrive gauzy agent shine enhancer...
EXCELLENT JOB
HOW MUCH IS THIS REVELL
Thank you :) contact me via email you can find it in the channel about section
One of the things that puzzles me is why do people always finish Soviet air craft like they have never been looked after , covered in scratches and dirt , i had a friend who was a Soviet air force pilot in the late 70s and through the 80s , he said the aircraft in his squadron were kept clean and had hardly any scratches , because it would have caused a deterioration in the performance of the aircraft or is it due to the fact that people have been taught that nothing good came out of Socialism so they subconsciously do the model that way and make western aircraft look immaculate.
No it is not because people think nothing good came out of socialism but it is because most of us use reference materials as photos and videos of the real things in 1:1 ;)
