There's also a real problem with 'verticality' in Rebirth. I usually land factory and it's literally impossible to tell what floor footsteps are on there. They're so loud when they're below/above you that you can't differentiate what floor they're on.

Used to you could hear them from 3 buildings away, now you can barely hear them in the building you’re in and the directional audio on them is terribly inaccurate
ONe fix that I found that seems to work with me is I turned the master, center and side in hesuvi to 125 and it really helped to hear footsteps in rebirth island

How are your thoughts about this matter ??? Your audio fixes are an exagerated advantage/cheat or you just looked for some way to fix what Activision didn't do since WZ1 ??? PD: i tried your fix and didn't like it, for me just enabling Loudness EQ and set it to short was more than enough.
You said you can't decrease the kill streaks sounds without lowering the footsteps sounds also. How hard is it for the developers to implement some audio sliders for those specific sounds?Like kill streaks and ambient noises?
They could, the added "speaker test" function is already a nice little wink but we'll have to wait and see. I think we'd sooner see changes to core audio overall and flex/perks.
Hello I installed the optimization more than 2 weeks ago and from one day to the next when the sound comes out in "art thune" it was really diminished in play despite I put it at 100, while when I make it come out in other things like voice metter or my headphones directly the sound is very loud, I do not understand anyone have an explanation for the sound to become loud again as before with art thune? I've been playing ranked none stop using loads of different audio tunes and headphones and there has nothing I can do to make footsteps sound better. My squad has been wiped by entire teams that seem to have the ninja perk by default. This is not Art's tune this is the developers breaking things again. Hopefully they fix this soon.

If your on PC get a free program called Audio Lock, then you can lock your max volume and it reduces the extremely loud gun fire and air strikes.

I literally have better directional and audio cues with stock audio while using the EPOS GSX 1000 DAC and PC38X. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

Input lag on PC is also an issue. Trying to reload, plate, grab loot container/ground or even contracts, has this annoying input delay.

for us astro a20 users its best to not do the 2nd update audio video it damn near deafens the sound

use voicemeter input for all other sounds (this worked for me at least but I'm sure its mentioned in the videos to)
