The folding door at the rear needs an overhang to protect it from rain.
For that money you would think they would have laid some sod where they left mud in the back yard.
maybe it's seeded but yes, sod would look much better
Shame they got rid of the original 1930s fireplaces and many other original features. Someone would’ve loved to have them
Usually things aren't thrown away; they were probably taken to an architectural salvage yard.
Original is always good. They were hideous.
The grouting around the sink could be improved
@6:15 - My thoughts exactly! LOL!!
Brilliant job, but why would you cover up the existing fireplace? In New York City there are no NEW wood burning fireplaces allowed, and they have become a treasure.
Brad the Pitts Whats the point in having a fire place if you can’t use it? Pointless really. In london you don’t really need a fireplace...!
We’re keen on keeping fireplaces quite often but that one’s a hideous 70’s monstrosity!
Not in England I guess. This house is vastly too small. It is not worth $850, even after referb.
Sad that they got rid of the gorgeous art deco fireplaces
Well for resale you’d need to they don’t really appeal to most buyers
Sorry I thought they were ugly. More appealing with them gone.
1:10 they were so petty lol only power washed their half of the post
extra petty!!! must have used painters tape to get the line that crisp.
This is one ofvthecreasons doctors nurses lawyers and other professional workers live outside London...crazy city. The mayor is doing nothing at all.
Why did they put this roof-ish angle into the kitchen? It looks weird ad takes head room
Probably building regulations
Does anyone ever do a bad job? It's always "the finish is very high" lol I want to see a disaster or two!
You're just paying for the location. The refurb is not even high spec and looks bland uninspiring.
That kinda money i woildve bought a 6 bed mansion outside lomdon
Christ £850k and you don't even get a full house. Nice profit for the purchaser at auction but I'd have to be off your head to pay the new valuation. London is crazy.
To be fair, it's in Central London. Like this ain't the outskirts, hon, lol.
would cost a lot more than that these days... this was 2014 :)
Probably 2 million now
Stuff it. I'd take the money, leave the Smoke and buy a lovely house in another county.
