How To Plait or Braid A Horses Tail for showing, hunter / jumper

This video shows you how to French plait a horse's tail. I show you the equipment you will need, how to prepare to do the horse's tail plait and provide some safety tips.
It shows you how to start to plait a horses tail with very short hair at the top of the tail too. It is still possible!
There are plenty of clear instructions and close up footage to show you what to do. I also demonstrate how to plait a tail keeping the centre piece of the tail plait the same width so you are left with a beautifully neat French braid in the horses tail. It is shown what you would do to finish with a loop but in this video we finish the tail braid for hunter jumper horses.
This will show you haw far to plait a horse's tail down, how to secure the tail plait and how to loop it up and secure the tail braid loop under the French plait part.
