@@Foggycallabasashillshelicopter jrue holiday didn’t score that effiently in terms fg% during his team in milwaukee and obviously he isn’t a better defender nobody said he was he fits the pg mold for the system and makes up thar gap with his playmaking cuz he clears jrue in that category and is also a better pick and roll player to pair with AD
Really liking the nets trade. Cam is very good defensively but just too erratic on offense. I like the Wizards one too, but Delon is not a high volume 3 pt shooter then again maybe if Gabe and DLO aren’t playing he’s necessary. But i also really like the Dejounte trade! Maybe the Cavs or Magic can be the third team for the trades to go through! Both need a point guard/backup point guard!
If we got dejounte by only losing DLo and JHS and our picks it’d be a steal. He’s shooting well this year, would actually give us a guard than can defend without being an offensive liability, and would still fit DLos role of being a coprimary playmaker with LeBron.
There are free agent Centers available and the lakers have a roster spot open. I think they should sign free agent centers to 10-day contracts before trading for one
IMO we need another scorer all this cool until it time we need buckets we need someone to take the scorer pressure of lebron and ad without having to be ball dominant so it should be lavine we trade for
It is about 40 mil to make up. A good base to start with is this and then add players and picks to make the trade make sense for all parties. Lakers have either the 2028 and 2030 1st rd picks or the 2029 1st that are tradeable currently. Probably the 2028 and 2030 for Murray and then a second for Gafford and Royce will be the starting point for draft picks. Lakers get Gafford, Murray and Royce. Wizards get Fino, Hayes or Wood Hawks get Rui Nets get D'lo.
I like the Gafford and Wright trade for the point of attack defender and upgrade at backup center. You mentioned that the trade would need to be a 3 team trade and the Suns need a PG. So I came up with this trade. Lakers get Gafford, Wright and Grayson Allen( Don't like him either but he was the only one with the right enough salary). Suns get D'lo and Prince. Wizards get Fino, Nassir Little and Bol Bol. This gives the Lakers a better backup center or can start next to AD. Wright can either start or come off the bench. Allen can shoot some or be a gritty player or someone who can be the Jarred Dudley, Pat Bev or Markieff Morris to help defend our stars if need be. Suns get D'lo to fix their PG problem but have to decide to go with a 3 guard starting 5 with Beal, Book or D'lo or to start D'lo and Book and have Beal off the bench, then start Prince, KBD or Yuta at the 3 as they are the only SFs remaining or Small Forward size players remaining on their roster. The last option is to bring D'lo off the bench and still have no proper facilator in the starting 5. Wizards get young players in Fino and Little on small contracts for multiple years. Bol Bol is there to add a young big to replace Gafford and to take one of the Suns multiple centers off the roster. Another reason I like that trade because we keep Vincent and Rui and we can either keep them on the roster past the trade deadline or we can go get a PF or SF making 25 mil. Mikal Bridges, Jerami Grant, JJJ, Markkanen, Draymond Green, Bojan Bogdanovich, Kuzma(Although sending Rui back to the Wizards would be awkward), PJ Washington, D'Andre Hunter, Derozan, Mikal Bridges or DFS and Royce O'Neale and Randle are making in the 20-28 mil range. If we want to go star chasing with Rui and Vincent to a rebuilding team then one of the above could be options with stars or star potential with a few years on the contract.
The raptor trade is better getting Dennis schroder and grey Trent jr and for Dlo, Gabe Vincent and Jason Hayes Im definitely behind that idea don't have to give up future assets or draft picks but I hate to get up Dlo
I think there is a possibility of acquiring DFS, Royce, and Dejounte - 3 team trade with ATL, BKN, and LA could work Rui would fit well in atlanta beside trae, while Dlo on the nets where he got his first all star nod would be perfect for him since they also need a facilitating point guard
Not that DFS is a bad player ,but I'm sure he is gonna cost you alot. Royce is somewhat a better defender and more experienced who can be got for cheap
I'd say don't touch Russell, Reaves, Rui, LeBron or AD or Vando. Everyone else should be up for grabs. The problem isn't the team its the coach not having a clue how to maximize the talent he has. That doesn't change with trades. It just gives the coach another roster to mismanage. A more interesting perspective and video not done very often would be a top 5 list of what better potential coaches would fit for the Lakers over Ham and why their styles would mesh better with the roster. Ham's misuse of Russell and Reaves shouldnt lead to them being punished, but Ham instesd.
Great Video as always Bro! I’ve got an idea what do you think about a possible Lauri M. Trade. I actually think that his trade value is lower than they are leading on and he’s on an expiring contract. I think the lakers can get him. Thoughts?
