We are back with some BABYMETAL! Featuring Tom Morello this time around. Like I said in the video, while I don't know a lot of Rage Against the Machine, I know Tom Morello is quite amazing at what he does. Let me know what you guys thought of this one!

Hey girl, it's been a while, you didn't show up with more BM songs, hope to see you around with more. So glad you came back with this new BM collab regardless your pool.
We got another banger for Japanese festival or any festival around, they performed this recently at Houston starting The Babyklok Tour in the US as well in all the cities they've been around, hopefully they will do the same at Aftershock or Louder Than Life and get the crowd going nuts with this, unfortunately Blue Ridge Rock Festival was cancelled 😢
It's their first song released with this new BM reborn and formation.
The live debut was at Apocrypha - Another One exclusive show right before the track released, it was fun and totally unexpected, everyone was having a blast and even started with a Kami Band solo after a while without it.
The song title is Metali!! (metal + matsuri, which is a Japanese festival) and you can hear it in the spoken section when one of them (MomoMetal, the new official member since April) is doing the Kabuki moves style.
Just so you know "wasshoi" is another shout used in Japanese festival when men are carrying the shrine, similar to sore and soya you can hear in Megitsune and Karate. The traditional Japanese instrument you can hear in the beginning is a shamizen, also used in Megitsune.
I can totally see why they pick Tom Morello on this, the groove, the catchiness, the super energetic jump and those typical 90's vibes at funk or alternative metal live concerts.
    Next suggestion:
    - METALIZM official MV.
Thanks for sharing this and see you next time.🦊🤘🎸

Me too. I was somehow surprised that when Su asked people to sit down, the DETHKLOK fans around me obeyed... how does she do that? However, one things though... from where I was (about 15 yards from the stage right under the left speakers) the amp was bumped up above its limit so the sound seemed distorted and I could not hear Su's voice well. How was the sound from where you were?

Metali = Metal x Matsuri(Traditional Japanese Festival). I went to see BM in Orlando on 9/2/23. They are touring in the US now and also played this new song. The Outside venue was packed like one of those rock festivals and it was an amazing concert as usual. 🤘

Oh okay. I didn't know it was a traditional Japanese festival. Thank you for explaining. 💛 That's so cool that you got to see them live. I bet it was awesome! 🤘

@@nikkireviews Many different regions in Japan typically hold their own unique traditional festivals in the summer. During these festivals, you'll often hear the words 'wasshoi,' 'dokkoi,' 'dokkoi-sho,' and 'sore' as typical call-and-response chants. When Su-Metal calls out one of these phrases, she encourages you to join in and respond. Babymetal wants you to make noise, sing, and dance in a circle, all while offering prayers for your safety, good health, and the abundance of goodness in life. This is how they aim to create their own Matsuri with the Fox God and invite you to experience the vibrant fusion of Matsuri traditions and metal music. 🤘

"Wasshoi! Wasshoi! Wasshoi! Wasshoi!“ Welcome back and good reaction. The live performances of this have been completely wild and the crowds are going nuts! 🤘🤪🤘
This is Momometal's first official music video since she was revealed as the official new member in April and she even got her own solo part with the spoken kabuki theatre section.
The song title translates as 'Metali' (or 'Metari') which is a fusion of the words metal and matsuri (festival). The song is about a Metal Village holding a metal festival, so they have included all the matsuri shouts everybody would be calling out as encouragement to the people carrying heavy floats etc like "Sore, Sore", "Dokoisho" and "Wasshoi!".
They are inviting us all to dance - as you saw for yourself there is something in the lyrics (Su sings it and it is in Momometal's kabuki section) about we are all idiots or fools - the idiots who watch and the idiots who dance ... so as we're all here and we're all idiots why just watch, we may as well all dance.

Babymetal is an interesting part of metal. It’s not my type and I don’t like the Japanese cultural typical voices. (I don’t know how to tell I’m speaking English as second language) But it is still metal.

    Great reaction, thanks!
Yes, "Metali" is a "matsuri" (traditional Japanese festival) influenced song and it's all about hyping the crowd and inviting them to dance and sing along.
Musically it's very groovy and funky and I love Su-metal's clean yet aggressive vocals here. Really cool collaboration with Tom Morello, indeed!
And very happy for Momoko on her first song and music video as an official member. Not to mention that special feature she did on that kabuki style interlude.
