  • A Federal Court’s travelled to the Torres Strait for an important hearing about climate change. Torres Strait Islanders Uncle Pabai and Uncle Paul are suing the federal government, arguing the Commonwealth has a legal obligation to protect their communities from the effects of climate change. People there are worried that in just a few decades, their home could be uninhabitable, and say the government has to do something.
