Hey guys, are you planning on coming to the UK anytime soon? If so I would recommend exploring the Lincolnshire coastal towns. They are actually pretty nice.
I visited belgium when I was interrailing in june and really enjoyed it, in fact I think it's quite underrated. customer service is great, the trains are punctual and not too crowded, food and alcohol is nice etc I only went to antwerp, leuven, ghent and bruges but enjoyed all of them. Next time I visit I'm going to go to Dinant and Durbuy as well as a few other places I havent decided on yet.
The Atomium is so amazing. Every Belgian child went their with school and remembers it, I suppose. I still remember the excitement of my 7 year old self the night before we would go to the Atomium. I couldn't sleep. Those are memories for lifetime.
So cool to see you guys enjoying my home country. And the waffles, and the beer, lol! :) You should have taken the Metro (subway) to get to the Atomium. That would have been a lot quicker, not to mention a lot cheaper too!
Patrick Brookings I was in Brussels in October, to be honest, I looooved it.amazing country, amazing people. I’m going back in December with my son. I told him about my experience, can’t wait to go back.

Manoé-Imaly Ive been two times to brussels n ghent before. I loved it. Nice place, people and the emvironment. I love the waffles. Aww how i missed your place
My girlfriend and I love following you two, you put out wonderful content! Im actually taking her to Europe for her first time in 7 days and we will be going right through Brussels to Bruges. I hope you enjoy your travels and thank you for all of your wonderful hard work!
I started to follow you both in April of 2017, you had what I thought was a fairly impressive 13.5k subs, you guys are screaming towards 200k at an ever increasingly rapid rate (well done you two) I have seen your friends join you and share their time and move on, I have seen you in places I do not ever envisage seeing, I have seen you in places I have been, you have even inspired me to plan my own adventure for next years vacation. I see you try just about every food and drink you can, you never seem to turn your noses up at a challenge, even if it is outside your comfort zone. But the most important things I see are a husband and wife, enjoying time together, seemingly unaffected by their burgeoning fame, you have not changed at all, your production is a lot more slick these days, and by virtue of your increasing success you are doing more and more. So, thank you both, good luck for the future, and I really do hope your adventure never ends.
Pretty pretty good! Your binge of Curb Your Enthusiasm is filtering into the vlog. Love it cause I’ve been binging The Endless Adventure and know what you’re watching in your free time.
Some bar recommendations for your next visit to Brussels (all only a couple of minutes walk from the Grand Place), À la Bécasse, which is a bit on the expensive side, but they have some great Lambics & other really good beers, in a traditional type setting. The Delirium Cafe, three floors, always busy, but with a huge choice of beers, both draft & bottled, A La Mort Subite, another traditional setting, some excellent beers, food & good service & a little further to walk, but not far, La Lunette, where you cam buy beers in Lunettes (1 litre glasses, on a stem, a bit like huge champagne glasses, the wide flat ones). There are plenty more around the Grand Place, some a bit more expensive than others.
Actually the construction of the Atomium started in March 1956 and ended in March 1958, just 1 month before the opening of the Universal Exhibition. It's a remarkable piece of achitecture and technique and worth a visit !
Love the coats. Those waffles look amazing! Love the travel videos, especially the ones in Europe as that is one of my destinations soon. Helps me decide where to go.
For something different, tram 44 from Brussels to Tervuren is one of the most beautiful in the world with classic trams from the trammuseum in summer with terminus Tervuren with amazing museum of Middle Africa and Versailles like gardens and huge park.
Thanks for another great video. I really think it would be helpful if you guys would include the actual calendar dates somewhere inside your blogs not just the posting dates. I just took it would help others plan their travel.
I think it would also. Also would make things less confusing for the casual viewer who doesn't get that they're almost never current on videos, and so are always suggesting things for them to do in a few days when they've probably not been in that city for like 2 weeks
Love that you still do post cards ;) As always a lovely yummy foodie section of this episode. You two prove my point that you can't fake being a foodie, you are either born one or your not :) Safe travels, your fans, James and Kim (treasure hunt traveler's)
When I went to Belgium about three years ago we went to some of the Belgium shops and there was actually taking chocolate out of boxes so that lets me know that they're not made homemade anymore
thank you for making discover Brussels in video. I'm from Brussels and I loved it, it only needed chocolate and beer and it would have been perfect !! ♥️♥️♥️♥️🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪
The sirens are unusual even for Belgium. Most don't sound like this. But they have been changing the sound and pitch of newer emergency vehicles. There was a debate about it a few years back. Its because modern cars are more and more and better and better insulated, that sometimes people don't hear the sirens anymore especially if their radio is on. But making the sirens simply louder is dangerous as it can lead to hearing damage for pedestrians. They are quite loud as it is. So research showed that changing the pitch/frequency more quickly and making them "ghostly" sounding as this ambulance does, makes it much more likely to be noticed in a modern car, even with the radio on, without being too loud for pedestrians or people on bikes. This ambulance is probably pretty new...
I actually cried with laughter at Allison's reaction to the ambulance... But then I thought what's wrong with goats in America if they sound like that!!! 😂😂
I love your vlogs so much!! I wish I could meet you guys. The waffles looked amazing and I've never been to Belgium before but it looks so beautiful there. Love you guys❤
if you come, brussels is not bad, (the cultural center isn't) but way nicer are Ghent, Bruges, Ypres and Antwerp the walloon cities are not all that nice but Durbuy is pretty nice, especially if you like rock Climbing, kayakking, …. but yeah the flemish cities are the ones you want to see, the flemish countryside is also way better because people here spend a lot of their income on their houses, it is really worth seeing flanders fields as well
Hi from Brussels we are in Brussels for a long weekend jus like to say how much much we love your video's especially when you mention what you pay for things we have been to the waffle take away you recommended and really enjoy them thanks again Adrian and Julie
I visited the Atomium in the early 1960's (school trip) and you are right - the views from inside are very good. As to beer you will spend a lifetime discovering all the different ones, I'm still doing it at 70! Next time you are in Belgium do try the costal tram service, a day ticket will cost about 7 euros for a tram line of some 53km. long. A, lots to do there good place to stay would be Ostend lots to do there - Cheers1
There are two Manneke Pis statues. One you saw in Brussels and the other one is in Geraardsbergen. Brussels is known for Tintin but also for Quick and Flupke (Two street kids) from Brussels and Nero. Also go check the Jubelpark with the Armymuseum, the Automobile museum and a kind of Arc de Triomphe.
