We had those once, for winter mountain warfare training. They were approximately five times better than the normal (American) MRE... but we were so miserable it hardly mattered.
Thanks for watching. I totally agree on the taste of the main meal compared to the USA. Just wish there was some more coffee inside. 8 hours and 1 coffee is not a happy experience...
You're not supposed to drink from the beverage bag. After mixing the drink in the bag, you're supposed to pour the contents into your canteen cup and then drink it.
I expected the Canadian rats to have 'Sorry eh' and 'Don't panic' stamped on the bag... 😂 P.s. (Politely) Jerky is meant to be chewed up and kept in the mouth to encourage salivation, same as pepperami sticks. 🤘 I'm going to have to find one of these with a menu I like, cheers marra🤘
@@DeepintheBunker I used to (And bemoan the fact you get so little in a pack). But a friend who was born in S.A. taught me that an ounce of Biltong could easily last all day. It's misclassification I'd say, we think of it as a food when its real purpose is medical. 😁👍

Great to hear from you, and for the Jerky advice. I had always just ate it like ordinary meat. Guess you learn something new everyday.

The camera stopped filming though.
