✨ LOVE A GOOD SILK PRESS ✨ This is really the longest my hair has ever been. Simply put- I wasn’t taking care of it. Any new hair product on the market- I was trying just because of someone else’s results. But Shoutout to @hairjones411 for the TLC she provides to my hair & giving it exactly what it needs! Without you and your knowledge- this mane wouldn’t flourish! I initially started with a goal to reach bra strap length & I finally reached it. I did have some breakage in the middle due to vitamin D deficiency, but instead of cutting to make it all even BEFORE analyzing.. Kayla trimmed a little at a time, every visit, to let it catch up- so she could monitor what was wrong and identify where the breakage was stemming from; then she could treat the problem areas accordingly. Now, It’s almost all caught up and it has doing its thing. By the next trim & treatment- it should fill in or be super close to! I don’t have a new hair goal- but I’d just like it to be as long & healthy as it can be. ✨Here’s a few extra things that helped my hair flourish ✨ 1.) Regular Treatments •1A- at home care: I work with my stylist by doing what’s necessary to not hinder growth vs working against her and doing what I want 2.) Trims: I never wait too long 3.) Scalp Detox & Stimulation: this has been a game changer 4.) KNOTLESS braids only (9 weeks max- inclu. Touch up) 5.) Vitamins (find out your deficiencies) 6.) Less wigs (friction can cause hair loss around edges) 7.) More low manipulation styles 8.) drinking my water & minding my business 😂 (I’m not joking)
