Earley, tank commander of Eagle 7, didn't fire the Pershing's 90mm cannon. He didn't even order it. His gunner, Clarence Smoyer, had sole command of the gun and took the shots. But your animation, combined with actual archival footage of the tank duel, is very well-done.

Incorrect . That panther ( There were two , and a panzer 4 in the area )was under a bridge , at the far end of the street , at the time it took out the two Shermans ( There were two involved in that incident ). Then moved up . The pershing on the other street , saw the panzer 4 backing up , and caved a building down on top of it , about the same time the shermans got hit . The panther was effectively dead on the first shot , as the crew bailed out immeadiately after , the 2nd and third shot , was the pershing crew reacting to the situation .
They were NOT Sherman’s. The tank that put the 3 shots into the Panther was one of the first Persing tanks with a 90 mm cannon. It was only by pure luck the panther didn’t fire first as its commander had never seen a persing before and thought it was a fellow German tank.

For three days straight?? Are you sure? Maybe it was three hours rather than days? Chernobyl burned (physically and not radioactively) for 10 days straight, and it was colossal, more than a thousand times larger than a panther. Hell, maybe even a million times larger.
Not destroyed and it was after, the Panther hit Kellner's Sherman twice. The first shot bounced, somehow, and the second shot destroyed the Sherman and took Kellner's leg off below the knee. Then the Panther traversed and struck the second Sherman's track but it managed to reverse around a corner but was largely immobilized.

Actually, I’m pretty sure the panther commander didn’t fire because the perishing looked too angled and assumed it was one of the axis tanks
The gunner , Clearence, of the perishing hated the barrel of a panther shooting it soo much, he shot it until it exploded
