Is it just me, or is anyone else just bowled over by their contrasting personalities and the cheeky chemistry these two guys have together??
i understand you, their friendship fascinates me as well. they're just like me and my friends. jens is always so stoic and laid back, sometimes a bit intimidating, while tomas comes off as more outgoing and approachable

2012? That's not that far away. If the stuff is good, it's always worth the wait. Knowing how good all Meshuggah so far has been, I'm confident the new album will be worth the waiting.

im really curious how the next album would sound like, they said they would loosen the technicality to breath life into their songs and make it have emotion, which i guess is kind of hard to feel in their previous ones because its like a machine, but then i guess too much of something makes you lack something vital, im excited to see this new hybrid album!! all hail MESHUGGAH!!

@paperpro3223 no its not out yet :/ fredrik replied to a message i sent him saying they would be finished in late fall this was like a month ago, but it may be early 2012 before the record company actually makes all the cds and puts them out....... either way keep your eyes peeeeeeled im sooo excited for this album

@RuroJiruries And Periphery's releasing a new EP plus touring US again with Fair To Midland and Scale The Summit. Ya, Tesseract has a new video coming out also with Concealing Fate extra DVD which I think will come with the CD purchase. And Sikth's guitarist Pin has a new project which if I remember right is in the writing process for a new album.
I shall create a time machine.

@phreestylesk8r Hell yeah man! this year is just gonna get better and better for music. Deconstruction is probably one of the coolest albums i've ever heard. and Opeth being my other favorite band, im sure their new album will also blow my mind. Mastodon has a new album coming out? aaaawwsome

@movchok gotta disagree with you there m8. You can't say it's not music, you can say you don't like it but it is music. It's more rythmical music tho so you gotta have a rythmical sence to kinda catch the groove and to actually see what they are doing and putting into it. But music it is for sure and i dig it!

Personally they are taking far too much time to perfect the material and that they are going to destroy they're own band, the last album is very nice but they will kill they're own name.

The new album... mm, I dunno. If it's gonna be the same machine-like repetition of same intricate patterns over and over, then I'll skip. It would be better if M risked to make some actual music once in a while. IMO they haven't done that since DEI in '94.
