Very cool. Would love to see more videos of the 580 working! I have one with 3pt and PTO (no backhoe). They called them Construction King for a reason!
I have some old 8mm recordings of myfather in the 70s 80s I have to put on DVD. Shoud be some good old vids of it at work.just got to get around to doing it.
Do you have pictures of your 3 point hitch and pto. I have a 1972 580b ck looking to get a 3 point hitch for. I would like to see yours. And where did you get your 3 point hitch from?
@@gracehomestead1355 while the majority of the 580ck's shipped with a backhoe, there were quite a few like mine that were factory optioned as utility tractors with the Case "draft-o-matic" 3pt and pto, similar to an ag tractor. Case also made a 3 pt hitch called a MOD hitch that would bolt onto the 580 and 580b if the backhoe was removed (it attached to the backhoe mounts). These were a very stout three point with hydraulic tilt and third arm to allow for tilting/angling a blade from the seat. They can be difficult to find but I've seen them. Unfortunately the MOD hitch did not allow room for a PTO shaft
@gadsden That's definitely a 580ck. I have one as well. Seat is up higher on a pedestal. Clutch and brake pedals pivot from above instead of below. Shuttle shift handle is on the dash by the steering wheel instead of lower on the left side. Etc

Good machine!
Just bought one today!
I have one just like that one but it needs some work. It runs good but it doesn't drive good all the time.
Just bought one today also! Say, whats that white ash? just under the soil? Where do you live ?
Sorry for the really late reply.
It's compressed bull dust. Or silt. Jimboomba. S/E Queensland, Australia
I'd just like to say I was clearing out a bog hole in a natural dry creek that flows only raining.
And my backhoe was out of action.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but your machine is a Case 530ck not a 580ck.
It is a 580ck ..this has been in my family since 1973. I'd tags on machine indicating .
