Trocadero and Portello are two soft drinks that originate from the Northern Norrland region of Sweden but since 1970-1980 have become increasingly common throughout Sweden and they have always been my two favorites among all soft drink varieties.
I remember as a child (1994-1999) that it was still difficult to find Trocadero and Portello over certain places in Sweden, including Stockholm, and Malmö as one of the places.

    • @FunSwedish

When I was in Stockholm I went to this fancy restaurant called “Tak”. I liked it because I saw that it was in a building, it had nice views, the place looked pretty cool for being a restaurant. I saw the reviews and the pictures and I got enticed to pay a visit.
Everybody spoke English, everybody was friendly. It all felt good. However when I started reading the menu, I really had a hard time trying to order because I did not really see something I’d like to try. As I was waiting to see what could I order, they offered me a soup, and I can tell you in all honesty, that soup must have been one of the most delicious soups I have ever had in my whole life. It was just so so so good. I’d have that soup a lifetime haha. In the end, I ended up ordering some chicken bites, with sticky rice, sushi wrappers, some veggies with chopped up pieces of corn and a sauce. I loved everything except for the sushi wrappers. Dont like the taste of it, but the rest of the food was fresh and very tasty. I got my food with a big glass of water, which by the way, I know water tastes like nothing, but water is Sweden for some reason taste so good xD I had water for everything I ate. Water and tap water in Sweden is definitely top notch. Anyway, my surprise was at the end when I got the bill… the whole thing ended up costing me about 60$ hahaha I just didn’t think that meal would be so expensive. However, I think it was worth it since I got nice views from the building, I took amazing pictures, the food was amazing, and the people very friendly. If anybody wants a good time and a restaurant when in Stockholm, go to “tak” youre gonna love it.

I have a question about verbs.
    Is ta/dra/trä/va short for taga/draga/träda/vara?
The dictionary lists ta/dra/trä as the infinitive, but also lists taga/draga/träda as one of the inflections.
But what is taga? Another form of the infinitive?
    Is va short for vara?
According to the dictionary, va is short for vad, not vara.
But va seems also to be short for vara...
