The reason why many students think their English is bad, is because they use simple vocabulary all the time! For example, if you want to describe something positively, you would use adjectives such as "Nice, Good", or negatively using adjectives such as "Bad". In this lesson, you will learn some alternatives to simple adjectives that you use daily.
Improving your English vocabulary is the first step in improving your overall English level. Substituting simple words would make you sound more professional and advanced while trying to communicate in English.

Hello Maddy. I hope you're doing well. I try to improve my vocabulary everyday, watch plenty of lessons, revise and train a lot, and yes I write mesmerizing essays and my grammar ain't that terrible. But when a vocabulary test comes to my eyes, none of the words I've learned are in the questions. I won't lie to you, reading isn't pleasure to me, but are there any other ways from which I can even more expand my vocabulary? As I've said, none of the words or expressions I've learned are in the vocabulary assessment. There are most of the time words I've never seen or heard in my entire life.
I really need your help. Any advice would be much helpful and appreciated.
