Gokaiger will always be special, because its the kind of show that could have only been made at the time that it did. Its the big 35th anniversary for the franchise, sure, but also keep in mind that in the background of it all.. Japan was not doing so hot. Massive tsunamis, earthquakes were happening every other week and there were like, 3-4 nuclear reactor meltdowns on top of all that. During this time, many past sentai alumni took to twitter (in character I might add) to tell the kids to not lose hope, that things were going to be okay. When Toei announced there plans for Gokaiger they had like 11 big cameos they wanted to do (i believe it was Gorenger, Zyuranger, Timeranger, Abarenger Magiranger, Dekaranger, Gaoranger, Shinkenger, Hurricanger, Go-onger and Goseiger) as like a best of compilation. The most popular and well loved shows were what Toei prioritized. However, I can only imagine their shock when past actors from every single series began calling in for something to do. They all wanted to come back to inspire the children watching again, hence when we get that very out of left field cameo of Battle Kenya in the Christmas Special of all things. Everyone involved cared about what they were making, they wanted it to be special, that's what its remember to this day as one of the greatest sentai ever made.
The Gokaiger's legendary keys were so awesome and well designed well. Unlike the the American version the Gokaigers were able to stay in the power up mode for as long as they wanted without any issues

MegaForce and Super MegaForce will forever remain a tarnished, could have been great anniversary. Instead it was botched and completely mishandled both in the show and in the toyline.

I think the reaoniong is this.....the Super Sentai(and Kamen Rider) are Yes, aimed for kids w/ the toys and such. However if you actually WATCH the shows, they get VERY DARK in some areas....because I believe that the target audience in not purely for the kids, but the adults too.....so that the Japanese public can watch these shows (Super Sentai and Kamen Rider) as a family. but that's just my opinion. Thay are geared for both. WHereas Power Rangers is made PURELY for the kids.
I feel Gokaiger is probably one of the few series that as soon as I got into it, I had difficulty not trying to binge watch it. The concept, the story arc with the tributes, and toy concepts were excellently done. My main question concerning the Figarts though is if Gokai Green can be posed with his sensual wiping his hands after using the bathroom pose.
I think that was a fair take on most of the stuff. I came back into caring about Power Rangers/Super Sentai when Gokaiger was airing. I mostly only follow the mecha toy releases and rarely watch the shows themselves, but Gokaiger is the only Sentai series I've completely watched. I actually enjoyed the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Zords in conjunction with the Gokaiger mecha. They're not screen accurate, but I think they're better things to play and fiddle around with. They're probably the line that benefited the most from the modular Zord Builder pegs and it was fun developing fan combinations for them. I also give that line and Dino Charge major points for the original toys that were of a quality that they fit in seamlessly (unlike those awkward battle armors they kept repainting). After that, Dino Charge would go on to give us more original Zords and be designed in a way to correct the easily broken parts of Kyoryuger's mecha. I gave the Mobirates a pass because I knew how dangerous a rabbit hole collecting Ranger Keys would be. But when that big box set came out for the Legendary Morpher, I dove in and had an almost complete set of the PR Ranger Keys. I never got any of the convention exclusive sets. That collection is long gone, but things have gone fully circle as I have the upcoming memorial Mobirates set on pre-order. ..I think I can resist collecting any other keys. I'll be fine with just the Gokaigers. ..and maybe SPD.. ...and Magiranger.. ..And Gobusters go pretty cheap actually.. oh, and wasn't there that Kamen Rider OOO set? ..oh crap, what have I done?
To say this, Japan actually beat America to the punch on spring-loaded keys by a year or so. There was the initial One-Click set, which had the 6 Gokaigers & a small assortment of other red rangers. The new ones just included all of the reds, some of the 6th rangers, the Akibarangers, & 2 of the Zenkaigers. All the American keys did was standardize the springs as part of the keys' designs for the US toyline.
It was cool how former Sentai members could wield the keys and even transform. I remember the first episode where a kid took the Red Gokaiger's transform device and the Red Samurai key and the Captain dared him to see if he was red and the kid transformed but the monster easily overpowered him
the original Hurricanegers took their respective keys from the Gokaigers also in the Hurricanger homage episode(the one where the Gokaigers unlock Gokai Furaimaru)
Gokaiger is the best Sentai season. The pirates had a lot of character development as they met the members of previous Sentai teams. The mecha, GokaiOh had a great design while the Kanzen GokaiOh was one of the best clusterfuk mechas. Even the mecha from older series like Hurricaneger had new and improved designs (like Furaimaru) The villain, Basco was awesome as well even though he was sort of an asshole sometimes. GOOOKAI SIILVAAA was also an awesome character, I feel like he represents every kids dream when they watch Sentai. Gokaiger is an anniversary season done RIGHT!
I will still never forgive the people in charge for Super Megaforce for straight up telling Bosco’s actor to take a hike His actor could legit speak English well and was willing to fly to them to reshoot all his scenes in English He even as adapt with American customs having actually gone to college in the States so he’d have no problem working however long he would be needed But instead of incorporating Gokaiger’s best villain who had one of the best fights scenes in said series (his final fight against Marvelous) The director, producers, etc just told him “No thanks” and left us with only his brief cameos in his monster form who did next to nothing The BIGGEST screw up ever cause there was literally no reason to not incorporate him unlike past actors/actresses because of the whole union thing
Gokaiger definitely lightyears better than super megaforce. In terms of story, Casting, hype, narrative, regional aesthetics, acting, plot twists and nostalgia factor, Gokaiger served everything to its audience from the old to the new. Power ranger nowadays shows awkward acting from shallow anger to inappropriate reactions to the scene. Yes, Power Rangers 'may' have better graphics, CGI, and special effects but that's because SS already laid the ground work for them. They'll just purchase the rights then make some tweaks to make it their own...but mostly, those changes makes it more cringey... SUPER SENTAI ALL THE WAY
Gokaiger is actually a very well-written season. With cameos of members of the first 34 super sentai (All of the 34 teams have at least one member to return to the screen for a cameo. The 10th anniversary movie Ten Gokaiger is actually one of the highest rating Sentai anniversary movies. With all original 6 actors and original 6 suit actors reprised their roles. I still like how the voice actor for Gokaiger equipment Tomokazu Seki is very talented in the voice acting
Even at 20 years of age I still love Power Rangers (haven't been able to watch Super Sentai yet). I have all the Power Rangers themes, up to Mega Force, on my phone in one long song and I play that at work. I still get questions like "what the hell is this," "Power Rangers, really," and "what the hell are you playing." All I can respond with is "Fuck you! I like it. Its nostalgic and brings back memories from my childhood!"
Gokaiger is awesome, even they couldn't bring back all old rangers from series, they still tried their best to make me enjoy the show from start to finish. Decade and Akibaranger are little more depressed.
I think something super undertalked about is the Rider Keys that allowed the Gokaigers to transform into Kamen RIder OOO different combos, that was awesome

That's kinda how I feel about Operation Overdrive as well. It's a mid season, but I still like the suits and I would like to see the LC line give us figures of those.
I love you compare them both..world must know the OG of every Power Ranger. Japan toys line are connected in 1 series because the price must affordable for parents to buy it for their kids.

Yeah, Gokaiger really was the best... Maybe I am asking a little too much, but no other season has felt like it ever since. Nothing against the later Sentai, but man, I just felt like something was missing... Also, as far as I care, Gokaiger was the real anniversary season for Power Rangers as well, man Megaforce was such a disappointment... Hope Hasbro releases Super Megaforce Lightning Collection one day, so I finally can have my Gokaiger team...
Gokaiger is a good place to start...maybe it will peak your interest to want to go back to the ones prior to it, just to see the previous ones in their full glory.

Vinyl figures was build for 1 thing, Beat the hell up of each other Target for younger demographic They are soft to absorb impact when they punch each other, also they have no accessories that can fall off and be swallowed plus they are affordable so they can army build the mooks for a big rumble They might have limited articulation because of this, but that is probably enough for kid's imagination
My Japanese auntie got me the full set of the Go-Onger ones (the 5 main team and the Go-On Wings) when I was a kid and I hated them because they weren't posable and you could barely do anything with them You can't move their legs which can't allow them to kick or sit down. As a kid I thought it was stupid that they couldn't kick, as they do kicks a ton in the TV show Plus they were larger than all my other Power Rangers toys so they never looked right when I wanted to line them up with my other Rangers for a epic confrontation I later got the full set of RPM figures a few months later and played with them like all the time while the Go-Onger vinyls were neglected in my toy box just collecting dust
Since you have the Mobirate and you love the crossover battles, be they Sentai-only or Rider (From what I see of the Fourze DVD you have), do you think you’d try getting a Kamen Rider Driver and seeing that you can review of the Rider toy lines? Funnily enough, I've just started watching Gokaiger again - my 4th or 5th time now, I think. Some of the subsequent Sentai seasons are a bit lackluster in comparison, but there are a couple of exceptions. I'd recommend ToQger and Lupinranger vs Patranger. Also, I see you decided to go for the dubious Malaysian/Thai/HK DVD releases. How are they? I bought an "official" Malaysian DVD release of Dekaranger once and it was... pretty awful. Like 360p TV rip with incoherent subtitles.
The first Sentai I watched full through was Go-onger. I thought it was really good and liked Shikenger.....so what I usually do I Power Rangers comes out w/ a new series using footage from a Sentai I had previously watched....:I'll watch a couple eps of it, just to see what they do w/ it. Usually it's pretty decent translation (well w/ the exception of Super Megaforce and Samurai ((do NOT even get me started on either))) given the culture differences, ETC. Although to be fair, I had to stop watching RPM when they first introduced the Gold and Silver Rangers on that.....for 2 reasons, 1) that ep when they first appeared was LITTERALLY the same ep that it was in Go-Onger, only thing they did to it, (other that the dubbing) was they added a smokey filter over it, and the Lame Excuse Dr. K gave for why the vehicle they were in had literally GO-ONGER painted on it's side. and 2) the personalities of the Gold and Silver rangers had....like, I get they're like they have no "social" skills being locked away as they were in the think-tanks (Like Dr. K) but still...... ((OH gawd, did I really ramble on like this SO sorry, please disregard *ashamed*))

Oh no, those DVD at 16:37 are mostly (I can confirm Gokaiger, GoBuster VS Gokaiger, and probably SuperHero Wars) "bootleg" produced by Malaysia. I can't say much about it's quality, but sadly since Toei never had any intention of publishing the series officially with English subtitles (I believe it's due to respecting Power Rangers brand to be marketed internationally), there will be probably no official boxset releases of these newer sentai with English subs.
Im not familiar with that zord you are having the peg issue for BUT if it's as simple as a the peg not fitting snugly in to a hole it's supposed to stick in there is a solution. Remove the peg from the hole and apply super glue to the peg trying to get a nice even coat but nothing too thick. Let it dry completely before putting the peg back in the hole and usually the super glue adds some extra surface area to the peg and will give it a snuger fit.
Another thing was the five Gokaiger were able to transform into what Power Rangers considered the 6th warriors which was awesome yet in the American version they never tried this at all
Yeah, I don't know why Bandai Japan keeps making vinyl figures either instead of actual poseable ones. I guess because they're a bit cheaper to make? No idea. While I do like that America got actual figures, the one thing that I've never liked about the American ones was Bandai America always has this unhealthy obsession of wanting to give the Rangers unrealistic body proportions such as the guys having absurdly large muscles as well as the being overly scrawny, and massive chests, when they're not like that on the show at all. I don't understand why they can't just make them normal sized human figures like Japan's S.H. Figuarts. It really is a mixed bag when it comes to Ranger Keys, though. Both Bandai Japan, and America improve, and setback with these awesome keys. Japan did make official normal team Ranger Keys sets, but, unfortunately, for whatever reason, they decided to do only about 13 I think; Goranger (the original Super Sentai season 1975-1977), Sun Vulcan, Gaoranger, Hurricaneger, Abaranger, Dekaranger, Magiranger, Boukenger, Gekiranger, Go-Onger, Shinkenger, Goseiger, and Gokaiger (I think they may made a Go-Busters set too, which would then be 14). I mean, you'd think they'd do Zyuranger as well as since it was where Power Rangers began (not to mention they skipped all the 1990's Sentai shows), and they even did all the 2000's seasons, except 2000's Timeranger for some reason. So that meant those 2 seasons, as well as J.A.K.Q., Battle Fever J, Denjiman, Goggle V, Dynaman, Bioman, Changeman, Flashman, Maskman, Liveman, Turboranger, Fiveman, Jetman, Dairanger, Kakuranger, Ohranger, Carranger, Megaranger, Gingaman, and GoGoV never got main team sets, so your only way of buying full teams were through gashapon sets, and you had to assemble them, and manually apply stickers which was absolutely terrible. Meanwhile, America seemed to have the upper hand by making it a lot easier to buy certain keys, but, they decided to make certain keys like the American exclusive Titanium Ranger alongside the Wolf Ranger be Power Morphicon exclusives, and they were metallic, and while we did get them at normal retailers, we unfortunately never regular versions of them, not to mention a few extra keys we never got, and they spanned it for over 2 years after Super Megaforce's original airing which is beyond asinine. Neither Japan, or America fully thrived. I'm still hoping that someday Bandai Japan will finally make keys sets for the other teams too. (Sorry for my long rant there.) I agree, both of the American Morphers are definitely no where near as good as the Japanese versions, same with the roly-playing ones. I will be honest. Personally, I don't think I've ever been super fond of Gokai-Ou's opening/closing mechanic especially when it comes to Mechas, they just look a bit odd poking out of the robot like that to me, so, I think in some ways, I actually kinda prefer how the American ones functioned more. I love that they gave the Turbo Falcon Zord its own Megazord Mode, and it really makes me wish that the Japanese version did that as well. Super Megaforce as a show doesn't even hold a candle when it comes to Gokaiger, Japan handles Super Sentai's 35th anniversary so much better than America ever did with Power Ranger's 20th anniversary which mostly just a massive disappoint for many long time fans, including myself. (Again, apologies for my absurdly long comment.)

The Z wave sent him Dormant in a repaired mega winger fracturing powers into super mega suits and keys. He repaired delta runner, Omega max cycle for Ultra Gosei Great, and Ninja storm zords were rebuild as legendary megazord how mini zord returns. Mega wings went to Q Rex looking different from Triple Spike energy of Tommy dragon coin Trent Vest Eric emblem. Turbo Falcon has Heckyl Zenowing's DNA with road attack tech. Red lion merged with Soul Bird. SENTAI:Gem of Souls make lost ninja spirits specter powers. Lightning powers has Ripcon's DNA. Animaria Royals became super sonic powers. Mike used his suit gem transdagger tech to make defender rangers. Pai Zhuq masters took star power to be squadron rangers. O.G mystic use zord energy for blitz powers. Prism rangers made the zeo crystal. Sentinel Knight made Battalion for defending the Armada corona aurora.
The spring IS the weakness to the Bandai America version Ranger Keys. If it wasn't immediate out the box, the spring would weaken and the key would pop into Key mode on its own, unable to stay in Ranger mode. The lousy be distribution didn't help, they should've done nice lil' five dollar boxes of five keys to have complete teams, with a couple of Sixth Ranger packs. The Silver Morpher was trash...possibly the worst of the altered henshin devices ever (even worse than the Roboknight Morpher). And I don't think that Bandai America ever did the Super Megaforce Gold Key, either. The Legend Midget, as I like to call it, wasn't really that bad. Granted, it sucks horribly, especially compared to the Mobirates, and certainly doesn't justify the $30 price tag like the Gosei Morpher before it. But for the few things it did well for what it was (ex.: The Mobirates henshin sound was carried over to this for the Legend Midget's morph sound), it was pretty okay.
Well, one thing to consider: the Bandai Asia release of the Mobirates (this is the one I have, got it in a trade a few years back) has to be the worst version *of the Mobirates*. The volume is lower than normal (this is a thing with ALL Asia version changers), but still way louder than the Legend Midget. Also, the outer shell is that of the original Mobirates, BUT, the sound card is from the kinda ugly Legend Mobirates...so: you lose several keypad combo sounds (such as ALL of the mecha launches), you lose functionality for several Ranger Keys that should otherwise work, the Kamen Rider OOO sounds are gone along with the OOO Combo Keys, BUT, there's added Go-Busters sounds (for the Go-Busters Ranger Keys, along with a different sound if you press 0036 enter), so there's that. Pretty sure that the horribly overpriced upcoming Memorial Edition Mobirates will have more sounds than both the previous Bandai Japan iterations. (That still doesn't make it worth nearly $200 USD...)
Overall a nice comparison video! ^_^ It's still somewhat surprising that Gokaiger performed so well as it did. They just struck the right formula at the time, and it had such a unique charm!
You can now get the upcoming memorial gokai saber and blaster set the game or accurately but that probably going to be quite expensive so I don't know b a price efficient alternative
Because I wanted the screen accuracy and that I plan to watch it soon I just purchased the legendary edition of the Gokaiger morpher along with 30 keys off ebay, I wanted the super megaforce but it's lacking in the size and details, especially the keys, when I found out about super sentai and such that power rangers used for their source of the theme for each eason I was shocked at the poor quality of the PR toys/collection that I used to have some of that the Original Japan versions was much superior, like the samurai zords actually being able to fold up completely as an example, my first sentai may be Gokaiger but I'll have to try and watch the other ones that PR used themes from
Gokaiger keys are def. better than the SMF keys since more rangers. Rangers figures for Power Rangers were pretty decent. Wish there more villains in the toyline like Basco and Sally for ex., Argus, Damaras, Bruisers, Royal Guards, and some monster of the days like Matacore, Pacha Chamak, and Desolar.
Tha fact that Super Megaforce did not have any rangers transforming into Lightspeed Rescue or Operation Overdrive really goes to show how inferior Super Megaforce is

The best of the bandai america keys was the painting love the gold keys in gold and silver in silver paint only in that I fail bandai japan with the gold ones in mustard color or gray color for the silver ones

MegaForce and Super MegaForce will forever remain a tarnished, could have been great anniversary. Instead it was botched and completely mishandled both in the show and in the toyline.

I think the reaoniong is this.....the Super Sentai(and Kamen Rider) are Yes, aimed for kids w/ the toys and such. However if you actually WATCH the shows, they get VERY DARK in some areas....because I believe that the target audience in not purely for the kids, but the adults too.....so that the Japanese public can watch these shows (Super Sentai and Kamen Rider) as a family. but that's just my opinion. Thay are geared for both. WHereas Power Rangers is made PURELY for the kids.

I feel Gokaiger is probably one of the few series that as soon as I got into it, I had difficulty not trying to binge watch it. The concept, the story arc with the tributes, and toy concepts were excellently done. My main question concerning the Figarts though is if Gokai Green can be posed with his sensual wiping his hands after using the bathroom pose.
gokai green is basically just a comedy relief in the entire series and of course there is some serious arc about him...

I think that was a fair take on most of the stuff. I came back into caring about Power Rangers/Super Sentai when Gokaiger was airing. I mostly only follow the mecha toy releases and rarely watch the shows themselves, but Gokaiger is the only Sentai series I've completely watched.
I actually enjoyed the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Zords in conjunction with the Gokaiger mecha. They're not screen accurate, but I think they're better things to play and fiddle around with. They're probably the line that benefited the most from the modular Zord Builder pegs and it was fun developing fan combinations for them. I also give that line and Dino Charge major points for the original toys that were of a quality that they fit in seamlessly (unlike those awkward battle armors they kept repainting). After that, Dino Charge would go on to give us more original Zords and be designed in a way to correct the easily broken parts of Kyoryuger's mecha.
I gave the Mobirates a pass because I knew how dangerous a rabbit hole collecting Ranger Keys would be. But when that big box set came out for the Legendary Morpher, I dove in and had an almost complete set of the PR Ranger Keys. I never got any of the convention exclusive sets. That collection is long gone, but things have gone fully circle as I have the upcoming memorial Mobirates set on pre-order. ..I think I can resist collecting any other keys. I'll be fine with just the Gokaigers. ..and maybe SPD.. ...and Magiranger.. ..And Gobusters go pretty cheap actually.. oh, and wasn't there that Kamen Rider OOO set? ..oh crap, what have I done?
To say this, Japan actually beat America to the punch on spring-loaded keys by a year or so. There was the initial One-Click set, which had the 6 Gokaigers & a small assortment of other red rangers. The new ones just included all of the reds, some of the 6th rangers, the Akibarangers, & 2 of the Zenkaigers. All the American keys did was standardize the springs as part of the keys' designs for the US toyline.
It was cool how former Sentai members could wield the keys and even transform. I remember the first episode where a kid took the Red Gokaiger's transform device and the Red Samurai key and the Captain dared him to see if he was red and the kid transformed but the monster easily overpowered him
the original Hurricanegers took their respective keys from the Gokaigers also in the Hurricanger homage episode(the one where the Gokaigers unlock Gokai Furaimaru)

Gokaiger is the best Sentai season. The pirates had a lot of character development as they met the members of previous Sentai teams. The mecha, GokaiOh had a great design while the Kanzen GokaiOh was one of the best clusterfuk mechas. Even the mecha from older series like Hurricaneger had new and improved designs (like Furaimaru) The villain, Basco was awesome as well even though he was sort of an asshole sometimes. GOOOKAI SIILVAAA was also an awesome character, I feel like he represents every kids dream when they watch Sentai. Gokaiger is an anniversary season done RIGHT!
I will still never forgive the people in charge for Super Megaforce for straight up telling Bosco’s actor to take a hike
His actor could legit speak English well and was willing to fly to them to reshoot all his scenes in English
He even as adapt with American customs having actually gone to college in the States so he’d have no problem working however long he would be needed
But instead of incorporating Gokaiger’s best villain who had one of the best fights scenes in said series (his final fight against Marvelous)
The director, producers, etc just told him “No thanks” and left us with only his brief cameos in his monster form who did next to nothing

Gokaiger definitely lightyears better than super megaforce. In terms of story, Casting, hype, narrative, regional aesthetics, acting, plot twists and nostalgia factor, Gokaiger served everything to its audience from the old to the new.
Power ranger nowadays shows awkward acting from shallow anger to inappropriate reactions to the scene.
Yes, Power Rangers 'may' have better graphics, CGI, and special effects but that's because SS already laid the ground work for them. They'll just purchase the rights then make some tweaks to make it their own...but mostly, those changes makes it more cringey...

Gokaiger is actually a very well-written season. With cameos of members of the first 34 super sentai (All of the 34 teams have at least one member to return to the screen for a cameo.
The 10th anniversary movie Ten Gokaiger is actually one of the highest rating Sentai anniversary movies. With all original 6 actors and original 6 suit actors reprised their roles. I still like how the voice actor for Gokaiger equipment Tomokazu Seki is very talented in the voice acting
Even at 20 years of age I still love Power Rangers (haven't been able to watch Super Sentai yet). I have all the Power Rangers themes, up to Mega Force, on my phone in one long song and I play that at work. I still get questions like "what the hell is this," "Power Rangers, really," and "what the hell are you playing." All I can respond with is "Fuck you! I like it. Its nostalgic and brings back memories from my childhood!"
FYI, I know a streaming service online that has Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman eps on it. All subtitled too.

Gokaiger is awesome, even they couldn't bring back all old rangers from series, they still tried their best to make me enjoy the show from start to finish. Decade and Akibaranger are little more depressed.
I think something super undertalked about is the Rider Keys that allowed the Gokaigers to transform into Kamen RIder OOO different combos, that was awesome

My Japanese auntie got me the full set of the Go-Onger ones (the 5 main team and the Go-On Wings) when I was a kid and I hated them because they weren't posable and you could barely do anything with them
You can't move their legs which can't allow them to kick or sit down. As a kid I thought it was stupid that they couldn't kick, as they do kicks a ton in the TV show
Plus they were larger than all my other Power Rangers toys so they never looked right when I wanted to line them up with my other Rangers for a epic confrontation
I later got the full set of RPM figures a few months later and played with them like all the time while the Go-Onger vinyls were neglected in my toy box just collecting dust

Funnily enough, I've just started watching Gokaiger again - my 4th or 5th time now, I think. Some of the subsequent Sentai seasons are a bit lackluster in comparison, but there are a couple of exceptions. I'd recommend ToQger and Lupinranger vs Patranger.
Also, I see you decided to go for the dubious Malaysian/Thai/HK DVD releases. How are they? I bought an "official" Malaysian DVD release of Dekaranger once and it was... pretty awful. Like 360p TV rip with incoherent subtitles.
Lupinranger vs Patranger is awesome...sadly they didn't sell much toys so the series usually never gets into the top 10 category

The first Sentai I watched full through was Go-onger. I thought it was really good and liked Shikenger.....so what I usually do I Power Rangers comes out w/ a new series using footage from a Sentai I had previously watched....:I'll watch a couple eps of it, just to see what they do w/ it. Usually it's pretty decent translation (well w/ the exception of Super Megaforce and Samurai ((do NOT even get me started on either))) given the culture differences, ETC. Although to be fair, I had to stop watching RPM when they first introduced the Gold and Silver Rangers on that.....for 2 reasons, 1) that ep when they first appeared was LITTERALLY the same ep that it was in Go-Onger, only thing they did to it, (other that the dubbing) was they added a smokey filter over it, and the Lame Excuse Dr. K gave for why the vehicle they were in had literally GO-ONGER painted on it's side. and 2) the personalities of the Gold and Silver rangers had....like, I get they're like they have no "social" skills being locked away as they were in the think-tanks (Like Dr. K) but still...... ((OH gawd, did I really ramble on like this SO sorry, please disregard *ashamed*))
Japan gets the better Zords and Morphers, while we get the better Ranger figures and other roleplay items (like costumes and masks)

Oh no, those DVD at 16:37 are mostly (I can confirm Gokaiger, GoBuster VS Gokaiger, and probably SuperHero Wars) "bootleg" produced by Malaysia. I can't say much about it's quality, but sadly since Toei never had any intention of publishing the series officially with English subtitles (I believe it's due to respecting Power Rangers brand to be marketed internationally), there will be probably no official boxset releases of these newer sentai with English subs.
Im not familiar with that zord you are having the peg issue for BUT if it's as simple as a the peg not fitting snugly in to a hole it's supposed to stick in there is a solution. Remove the peg from the hole and apply super glue to the peg trying to get a nice even coat but nothing too thick. Let it dry completely before putting the peg back in the hole and usually the super glue adds some extra surface area to the peg and will give it a snuger fit.
Cos Bandai Japan actually care about making good toys.

Another thing was the five Gokaiger were able to transform into what Power Rangers considered the 6th warriors which was awesome yet in the American version they never tried this at all

Yeah, I don't know why Bandai Japan keeps making vinyl figures either instead of actual poseable ones. I guess because they're a bit cheaper to make? No idea. While I do like that America got actual figures, the one thing that I've never liked about the American ones was Bandai America always has this unhealthy obsession of wanting to give the Rangers unrealistic body proportions such as the guys having absurdly large muscles as well as the being overly scrawny, and massive chests, when they're not like that on the show at all. I don't understand why they can't just make them normal sized human figures like Japan's S.H. Figuarts. It really is a mixed bag when it comes to Ranger Keys, though. Both Bandai Japan, and America improve, and setback with these awesome keys. Japan did make official normal team Ranger Keys sets, but, unfortunately, for whatever reason, they decided to do only about 13 I think; Goranger (the original Super Sentai season 1975-1977), Sun Vulcan, Gaoranger, Hurricaneger, Abaranger, Dekaranger, Magiranger, Boukenger, Gekiranger, Go-Onger, Shinkenger, Goseiger, and Gokaiger (I think they may made a Go-Busters set too, which would then be 14). I mean, you'd think they'd do Zyuranger as well as since it was where Power Rangers began (not to mention they skipped all the 1990's Sentai shows), and they even did all the 2000's seasons, except 2000's Timeranger for some reason. So that meant those 2 seasons, as well as J.A.K.Q., Battle Fever J, Denjiman, Goggle V, Dynaman, Bioman, Changeman, Flashman, Maskman, Liveman, Turboranger, Fiveman, Jetman, Dairanger, Kakuranger, Ohranger, Carranger, Megaranger, Gingaman, and GoGoV never got main team sets, so your only way of buying full teams were through gashapon sets, and you had to assemble them, and manually apply stickers which was absolutely terrible. Meanwhile, America seemed to have the upper hand by making it a lot easier to buy certain keys, but, they decided to make certain keys like the American exclusive Titanium Ranger alongside the Wolf Ranger be Power Morphicon exclusives, and they were metallic, and while we did get them at normal retailers, we unfortunately never regular versions of them, not to mention a few extra keys we never got, and they spanned it for over 2 years after Super Megaforce's original airing which is beyond asinine. Neither Japan, or America fully thrived. I'm still hoping that someday Bandai Japan will finally make keys sets for the other teams too. (Sorry for my long rant there.) I agree, both of the American Morphers are definitely no where near as good as the Japanese versions, same with the roly-playing ones. I will be honest. Personally, I don't think I've ever been super fond of Gokai-Ou's opening/closing mechanic especially when it comes to Mechas, they just look a bit odd poking out of the robot like that to me, so, I think in some ways, I actually kinda prefer how the American ones functioned more. I love that they gave the Turbo Falcon Zord its own Megazord Mode, and it really makes me wish that the Japanese version did that as well. Super Megaforce as a show doesn't even hold a candle when it comes to Gokaiger, Japan handles Super Sentai's 35th anniversary so much better than America ever did with Power Ranger's 20th anniversary which mostly just a massive disappoint for many long time fans, including myself. (Again, apologies for my absurdly long comment.)

Prism rangers made the zeo crystal. Sentinel Knight made Battalion for defending the Armada corona aurora.
My silver ranger key had the same problem with the spring when I bought the morpher years ago

The spring IS the weakness to the Bandai America version Ranger Keys. If it wasn't immediate out the box, the spring would weaken and the key would pop into Key mode on its own, unable to stay in Ranger mode. The lousy be distribution didn't help, they should've done nice lil' five dollar boxes of five keys to have complete teams, with a couple of Sixth Ranger packs.
The Silver Morpher was trash...possibly the worst of the altered henshin devices ever (even worse than the Roboknight Morpher). And I don't think that Bandai America ever did the Super Megaforce Gold Key, either.
The Legend Midget, as I like to call it, wasn't really that bad. Granted, it sucks horribly, especially compared to the Mobirates, and certainly doesn't justify the $30 price tag like the Gosei Morpher before it. But for the few things it did well for what it was (ex.: The Mobirates henshin sound was carried over to this for the Legend Midget's morph sound), it was pretty okay.

Well, one thing to consider: the Bandai Asia release of the Mobirates (this is the one I have, got it in a trade a few years back) has to be the worst version *of the Mobirates*. The volume is lower than normal (this is a thing with ALL Asia version changers), but still way louder than the Legend Midget. Also, the outer shell is that of the original Mobirates, BUT, the sound card is from the kinda ugly Legend Mobirates...so: you lose several keypad combo sounds (such as ALL of the mecha launches), you lose functionality for several Ranger Keys that should otherwise work, the Kamen Rider OOO sounds are gone along with the OOO Combo Keys, BUT, there's added Go-Busters sounds (for the Go-Busters Ranger Keys, along with a different sound if you press 0036 enter), so there's that.
Pretty sure that the horribly overpriced upcoming Memorial Edition Mobirates will have more sounds than both the previous Bandai Japan iterations. (That still doesn't make it worth nearly $200 USD...)

the Japanese gokaiger they had the one click special set, it can click just like the show but the button is scale big
Apparently the new one has made the button much smaller but now it's harder to press

Overall a nice comparison video! ^_^ It's still somewhat surprising that Gokaiger performed so well as it did.
They just struck the right formula at the time, and it had such a unique charm!

You can now get the upcoming memorial gokai saber and blaster set the game or accurately but that probably going to be quite expensive so I don't know b a price efficient alternative
Because I wanted the screen accuracy and that I plan to watch it soon I just purchased the legendary edition of the Gokaiger morpher along with 30 keys off ebay, I wanted the super megaforce but it's lacking in the size and details, especially the keys, when I found out about super sentai and such that power rangers used for their source of the theme for each eason I was shocked at the poor quality of the PR toys/collection that I used to have some of that the Original Japan versions was much superior, like the samurai zords actually being able to fold up completely as an example, my first sentai may be Gokaiger but I'll have to try and watch the other ones that PR used themes from

Vinyl figures are for children and don't cost $10 on a blister package just sold loose for $3.50
Gokaiger keys are def. better than the SMF keys since more rangers. Rangers figures for Power Rangers were pretty decent. Wish there more villains in the toyline like Basco and Sally for ex., Argus, Damaras, Bruisers, Royal Guards, and some monster of the days like Matacore, Pacha Chamak, and Desolar.
Tha fact that Super Megaforce did not have any rangers transforming into Lightspeed Rescue or Operation Overdrive really goes to show how inferior Super Megaforce is
well that and the total lack of reason to go from "standard issue" Uniforms to Pirate Themed. I could have written a better reason WHY that was the case.....and it would make the Pirate them more feasible

Definitely not my favorite season, but still enjoyable. I havent seen a slew of seasons, only clocking in around 10, but gingaman is one of my favorites.

Megaforce looks really buff
The best of the bandai america keys was the painting love the gold keys in gold and silver in silver paint only in that I fail bandai japan with the gold ones in mustard color or gray color for the silver ones
I love japones toys the way they try to make the same shit on the show is incredible
