I love the look of your Havanese's coats. I'm considering adopting a shelter dog that appears to be a Havanese from her intake photos but the rescue shaved her. Do you know how long it takes for the coat to grow in and how I can maintain a coat that's long, wavy and a little carefree-looking?

I love my Havanese because they love everybody and everything.My 2yr.old also has a cat as her friend!!!
They are not playing together, The cat wants to be alone and the dogs are simply annoying her !
