didn't Reagan appoint 3 judges to the Supreme Court who later affirmed Roe vs Wade in Casey vs Planned Parenthood? why would it be different with judges appointed by Trump? on top of that, even overturning Roe vs Wade wouldn't lead to criminalizing abortion, unless the court rules abortion itself to be uncostitutional. and the judges who call themselves 'originalists', like Gorsuch, would never do such a thing.
actually i live in the country where abortion is mostly illegal and we don't punish mothers - instead we punish the doctors and other people who help women get abortions. I don't see any problem with such laws. The punishment for abortion doesn't have to be harsh, it can be similar to punishments for killing protected animals for example. By the way, do you know that in the US you can get a life sentence for giving a pregnant woman abortion pills without her consent? killing a fetus is sometimes treated as a murder and sometimes as "healthcare", depending on who does it.

It does baffle me that in a world where their are many options to not get pregnant that abortion is still an issue. I know there are still some accidents, but I have found most unwanted pregnancies steamed from people choosing to ignore their options. I think if people took personal responsibility for their actions the demand for abortions would drop dramatically. If we did that we could then talk about any exceptions brought up ie. rape, broken condoms or what have you.
Keep in mind that the "pro-choice" movement is a lie to control women and destroy the nuclear family. It all leads to the path of keeping demoncraps in power.

1.Because Im interested in much more than REDUCING abortion. I want it to be illegal. If the unborn is a human being like you and me, then they deserve to be protected. The only differences between the unborn and the born is size, level of development, environment, and degreee of dependecy. None of those things are strong enough reasons to disqualify the humanity of the unborn. So when you say that we should work to just reduce abortion instead of working to end it, it sounds like you're saying the fetus deserves less rights because its less developed. Could we argue for this type if thinking for any other less devloped group of people like toddlers? Imagine someone saying that parents have the right to abuse their 3 year old children in the privacy of their own home; but we should work together to reduce this instead of making child abuse illegal. What would you say?
2. Why do you want to reduce abortion anyway? If it's not really unjustified killing in any way, then who cares if there are 100 abortions or 1000 abortions?
Anthropology studies have shown (with nearly 8billion people on earth) that it turns out people like to "f_ck" , A LOT and that younger people, 16-24 years old REALLY like too. Also turns out "expanded availability and coverage of contraception and expanded healthcare resources for women" reduce abortion rates by A LOT, again, the data is clear on this. 😉
Turns out making something illegal doesn't stop it (See drugs, murder,etc). Making abortion illegal only makes it illegal for poor women, Ex Wealthy men's girlfriends will just hop a plane to where it is legal. Poor women will have "back alley" abortions that will end up killing some of them.
I use a reasoned & factual argument for abortion, I can not argue against one, like yours, that isn't.
Barack Smith I already told you im interested in so much more than reducing abortions. Because reducing abortion while keeping it legal is still going to allow unborn children to be killed unjustly. Why cant we just do both? Almost no one is barred from buying contraception in this country. Its not illegal to buy condoms or birth control so what's the problem?

And anyway even Mary Calderone( head of Planned Parenthood in 1960s) wrote in an article titled "Illegal Abortions as a Public Health Problem" for the Journal of Public Health said that this back alley abortion thing is waaaaay overblown. Its true that hundreds ( 260 in 1957 precisely for example) died through illegal abortion but most illegal abortions were done by good doctors who were willing to bend the law.
