We sat on the other side of the world and we thought it was scary. And a piece of.... Because of the heatwave at the time they couldn't leave their houses open to cool down. We felt all awful for you guys.

You never heard of Richard Ramirez The Nightstalker? We know about him and at that time I lived in Germany and The Netherlands and then Australia. Everyone knows about him. Those teeth man eeeeuuuuw. It was terrible because there was an heatwave going on at the same time, so people had to make a choice either swelter behind a closed up house or risk Ramirez. And the way that neighbourhood brought him down was crazy cool.

Hi Dawn👋. I live in DesMoines too. But I grew up and went to school in Norwalk. Are you talking about Richard Ramirez? I didn’t know about him until a few years ago. I remember hearing that he smelled like body odor something terrible, and his teeth were so rotten that they had black spots all over them. Yuck!!!!! What a nightmare.

Dianne Feinstein should have been charged with something. The very idea that he may have gotten away with these murders or that arrest may have been delayed leading to more murders is something I hope she thought right up to her death last month.

Yes, across the world people couldn't understand how she could do something so stupid. Luckily the neighbourhood brought him down, I think they were actually trying to Lynch him or beat him to death. Can't remember that bit anymore. The cops should've just let them get their own proper justice.

Another one on death row for over 25 years. It shouldn't take more than 2 years. The system in the U.S is flawed

For Richard Allen Davis and Charles Ng who I think should get the needle they won't push for it. Others like Scott Peterson and the other inmates why are they still living among the good people?

@@catalinacurioit was a mob of Hispanic people that chased after him and we're about to Lynch him or in the process of beating him to death, the cops came flying and saved him. Which in my book was a shame, he had terrorised them all summer during a heatwave, back then they didn't have air-conditioning in every house, so they were either sweltering in the heat or risk dying by that monster. So you can imagine people were upset and angry and once they caught him they wanted their due. It wasn't just 1 man it was a whole street full of people running after him.😂

Detective Frank salerno made a stupid comment to the press during the killing spree, saying that the night stalker was a coward, a Man who walks into a strange house in the dead of night, not knowing what he's going to face. That's police talk for unable to apprehend the suspect. Him and carillo would never have caught him. He was captured by Joe public, when up to 12 Hispanic men chased and felled him to the ground with the help of a fence post...

They already knew about his identity from fingerprints on a car he stole for one crime. The police released his photograph to the media. Joe public didn't know his identity until told so

So the detectives had a serial killer with the same shoes and it took someone walking past to determine the shoe...great detective work. Couldnt be bothered checking new shoes on the market?

Uhhmmm, you forget it was the mid eighties and computers were barely up and running and they definitely didn't had the same set up today, back then everything had to be logged in single handedly it was a mammoth task. It's already amazing they had already the main brands in there. For example not every cop use vicap and most didn't even log in the details they should have especially small stations and those in smaller towns. It was very frustrating to get everybody on the same page. But they did it.
