  • Caught this steelhead roughly 30 mins. apart. I concluded that it's the same steelhead because of its tail. It has the same scar or injury.

    Thats because you're flossing and it didnt actually bite either time.

      As a plus 50 year steelhead fisherman I would disagree, sockeye swim with their mouths open, making flossing ideal, however steelhead tend to swim closed mouth, and open to strike at their targets. It was indeed odd as steelhead tend to avoid the same problem and often switch to the other side of the river.

      @@jeremieroy360 I guess but that was very surprising to hooked the same fish twice and only 30 mins apart.
