Already running into lvl 15 decks everywhere, this game is cooked. I stuck around despite everything up until this point, as I watched all my friends quit with each nerf to progression. Level 14 should've been my final straw, but I stuck around and got 90% of the games cards max, finally getting to be on an even playing field no matter what deck I ran, finally getting to climb as high as I want on ladder, only to be smacked in the face with this update. This really might be the end of CR for me
It's not just cooked. The game is thrice-cooked. Then burned. Then it's ashes dumped into the sun. Then the sun dumped into a black hole.

@@monkeymoon108 I was about an 80% maxed before 14 came out. Not a typo. My progress was nuked, I lost everything. So I switched to playing casually and not buying anything. I'll waste their bandwidth as far as I can. It could be me dumping wins for you, see ya around.
@@monkeymoon108 I bought legendaries and good shop offers here and there over the years, and bought pass royale a bunch when it first came out, but I like to think most of my progress is a result of playing consistently since the game dropped. Stopped spending any money for at least a year at this point though.

We tried, every CR RUclipsr made a video on why they hate this update but like usually CR didn't listen.

tbh most people did agree not to, there's a ton of Asian players with deep pockets who could spend thousands but didn't. supercell didn't account for this, they're not plarium when they made a HUGE pay to win event, many people have spent a few hundred thousand on raid shadow legends events
As a former pro I honestly don't care if people do or don't
Im not going to upgrade until they make a change or i can't get higher trophies and I'll probably delete the game
This player was so excited to level up their cards, they spent all their money on getting to level 15! This clearly shows that there is a high demand from our players to add new levels into the game.

Also we heard you loud and clear about elite wild cards, so we're increasing the ammount of cards you get by 3 times! How? By changing the 3rd tier mastery rewards, from the 5k gold to elite wild cards:

-Special: 35 Wild Cards

-Legendary: 45 Wild Cards
-Champion: 50 Wild Cards

I've already faced level 15 cards on trophy road, which I no longer have maxed thanks to the extra 1500 to climb. Even if it is "only" 6 months, that's 6 months that would not have been nearly so tedious if we just hadn't added a new level. I'd be curious to see how many accounts just died because of these changes, cuz this is the closest to quitting I've been in a while

How many of your opponent deck is maxed? Bcz there is season boost who gives the illusion that people are paying, most of them has 2-3 cards thanks to magic items that they saved up.

The problem now is that now that they have released the update, they can't reverse it cause the players who did upgrade to lv 15 get scammed.
And even if they reduce the number of Elite wild cards required it would be unfair to those that have already upgraded 2-3 cardsto lv15

While I do wish that this boycott would work, supercell has never listened to the community and never will. They have already made their decision and can't go back on it since people already upgraded so 🤷🏽♂️

I was a player since the release dates but deleted the game on the update for trash players and haven’t look back ever since. You still make great content boss, keep it up bro
It's possible that they spent the ~25k just to prove a point being that it costs around 25-26k to max an account and then to refund later but still having proof of how disgusting of a cash grab this is. I don't think calling them or anyone stupid in any way is at all necessary. As they said themselves, don't jump to conclusions.

I literally finished maxxing my FIRST deck to lvl 14 like 3 days before the update, booting up the game and running against lvl15s using the boost on barbs firecracker and RG reminded me how unfunny cr is when under leveled, if officially done with the game

How on earth did he won the chargeback claim after intentionally spending $25K? Felt like he knows someone from the bank and that filing a reversal was easy peasy. That is a risky move just to troll SC (they deserve it though).

Banks are more willing to screw over companies from other nations. NiO isn't USA. So their bet is that Supercell won't waste resources going after them, because, again, cross nation lawsuits are hard and expensive.

They should just literally replace the code with the old update code so all the changes get reverted

Its possible to refund almost any purchase through apple. especially large ones. as a kid I spent about 2.2k on clash of clans thinking it was "in game money". All of it was refunded.
also in certain scenarios like this, they do sometimes restore the account to before purchases, as thats what they did to my coc account.

There's new elite card offers now. You can buy 50,000 for 13 dollars or 12,500 for 3000 gems

Boss, i saw something very interesting, i think as a content creator you must have known but i am just raising your attention. In shop buying a max legendary card for 40000 gives you 200 elite wild cards but buying rare card for 4000 coins gives you 400 elite wild cards and in case of commons its double the value of rares.
From how they say that a casual player needs 6 months to get 8+ cards to elite level, inbetween those months, maybe balance changes killed one of the cards and all your effort spending resources upgrading a nerfed card is a waste of time.
Also this is another problem with lack of deck flexibility because underleveled cards gives you a disadvantage.
I don't even understand what they're trying to achieve and expecting us to play everyday turn on clash royale and spend maybe average of 3 matches to fill your chests slots and repeat...
When u have that many much money to spend u dont think about whats cheaper and valueable u just get what u want 😂

Pretty sure the legal way to get a refund is if you do the transactions from a different apple id and then to call apple and report the account or payment method as compromised and they can refund you since you can say it was an unknown apple id to you using your credit card

i tried to pick this game back up last year. i played it in 2016 , but it seems like it has lost all of its charm. the art style used to be coherent (no banners or season passes or tower skins), call me a purist but there's so many cards now and it feels like 75% of them are bad.
it also seems like supercell just absolutely loves to pump and dump mechanics with this game. apparently there's some new season pass currency, and evolution tokens or charms or whatever, and the diamond season pass for some reason. the implementation of magic items is what spurred me to try and play again-- since they make life easier for free-to-plays, but the large majority of them are (or i guess were) locked behind the gold pass (diamond pass now i guess).
I don't get this argument from supercell that "slowly" or "eventually" people would get to level 15, that's wishful thinking on a whole another level.People will spend so much money to get unfair advantages (like you said) and that lead to the problem for you average player , who obviously can't and thus the game is ruined for a whole lot of people.
This is how long it takes to throw money into gems, and then open chests.. he must have spent a lot of time pumping, but he showed that he has 25,000 🤯
