Hot take: Angelo is the most annoying brawler in the game. Very fast speed, one star power that improves that and the other makes sure you can heal to keep shooting. You can jump away or shoot through walls. You have the ability to insta kill so many brawlers and kill even more if they have taken 1 hit from a teammate. You can walk on water so no area is not accessible to you. He can even hold his charge forever and in bushes, which is what made Hank broken. He can hold his own at all ranges as long as you aren’t point blank, not to mention his super which either does enough damage to kill you or keeps you low and stops you healing. I ban him in 95% of my ranked games because he is so annoying to play against

IMO it's willow: lots of damage over time, good radius, 2nd gadget allows her to escape close calls and super is just pure braindead
then there are kit and edgar, but more than "annoying" I prefer define them as 🏳️🌈
@@Universable I find Angelo more annoying because with kit and Edgar there are a lot of gadgets and supers you can use to help your situation, but Angelo’s ability’s cover every possible weakness he would have

Bro buzz is literally one of the stupidest assassins in the game. He does way too much damage for how much stun he has, and his area star power only makes him stupider. He also has a gadget that gives him a ton of mobility for escaping and even just rushing down frail brawler

Modifiers are fun but they honestly just add more things to overwhelm in draft. Like, besides the current broken brawlers, now I have to worry about Leon in quickfire, or El Primo and Spike in big friend. Keeping the ranked meta more stable during the off month the dev team takes in July is a nice move since it makes it easier on the players to control the broken stuff.

I really like ranked this season because i hated modifiers
I feel like the take at around 12:00 about the skill is so removed from how the actual situation is because most people are diamond (with a good minority of gold and mythic players), and most people only have like 1 rank 25 brawler.
I have dozens of friends who play brawl stars and only one of them has reached the legendary rank...
I've been playing (really inactively) since 2017 (the early beta release) and I still only have a few brawlers over rank 25. By far most people are casuals like me and most people don't push much past r25

Hot take some of the more annoying stunning gadgets and abilities should slow heavily instead so that you could actually do something about it when you get hit. To compensate you can give it a buff in another part of it (give it a damage boost etc.)

Stuns are a big part of some brawlers' kit, I don't see a point in remowing them
Also, idk if anybody said this, but really cool to see 21:9 ish screen ratio brawl stars content, as its not very popular
I think about the Draco take, they were saying he's being pushed over the top due to cheese with kit or byron rather than him being op by himself.
Too Be Fair, Certain Brawlers literally have no ways to escape Edgar and Kit. Even though they are bad in ranked doesen’t mean they are godly solo

Barley has unicorn knight and swat master(my personal favorites). I personally prefer them to the new skin
Hot Take: Brawl stars balancing team are just terrible at their job and it's not even about new brawlers being op
For example: That one Carl buff which made him broken a long time a go, Gears at their release were dumb, because only some were viable and some were literally useless, Supercell keeps messing up the balance for almost everything in the game and it just becomes weird at some point

Hot take: Most skins are boring and do not reflect the brawler well and lose the personality of the brawler.
Skins aren’t meant to reflect the brawler, they’re meant to be something new. And yea, most skins are boring cuz they’re recolours. Rare skins come with every brawler, and there’s alot so yea, most skins ARE boring because of that.
Hot take: I think releasing new brawlers to the star road is some kind of a mistake. Everybody can get the new brawler as soon as its realeased while they're meta. It just makes the game unplayable as a whole

Hot take: Dynamike is too op and needs a nerf, his GADGET having as much stun as Buzz's SUPER is crazy work
Hot take Mico should be completely reworked everything about his kit is unfair except the second gadget and his hypercharge is not that good its verry hard to time his jump his unload speed is verry quick his super gives him more air time completely reloads his ammo and heals him his star power is unfair stealing the enemies ammo resulting in them losing his second star power also does 5000 damage on heist per hit but its mostly fine!
The hyper should make his super go down faster
@@ixixYTmico doesnt need a buff. He’s a very balanced brawler imo, he deserves a small damage nerf, though, as he’s impossible to play against without any abilities to run / cc.
Hot take: Gray has a pretty good matchup into Angelo. The shots may be fairly hard to hit, but everything else is pretty good. A max gray three shots Angelo even with shield gear, so hitting Angelo once immediately puts them in danger of being gadgeted with cane and hit again. Gray’s super if pretty effective, all Angelo can do is gadget away, which still pushes him back, and if he has pierce gadget, u can match it since cane also pierce walls and the super would be even more deadly. Not to mention the cane can interrupt Angelo charging his attack like Hank. Also fake injury is insane effective. Fake injury sp plus shield gear means two of Angelo’s fully charged shots still can’t kill gray. Heck maybe even shield and health gears on gray would be great against Angelo.

hot take: Supercell should remove heist from ranked its absolutely no skill its pure luck if someone steals your brawler or not or if you want ban someone whos broken, but your teammate wants to pick it so you dont ban it but after opponent picks it before your teammate jsut becouse you were unlucky and your team didnt start. Or atleast make broken ults and hypercharges on heist deal minimally 50% less damage (Clash royale has cards dealing less dmg to towers than to other cards so i dont see why brawl stars cant have it aswell)

the comment about charlie didn't meant that she is weak and should get a rework, it meant that charlie should get a rework to make her LOWER in the meta because supercell has already destroyed her with nerfs but she still almost broken

2:41 I disagree Charlie's super is fundamentally broken, irritating, and just unfair.
just the idea of a long-range stun that can last upwards of 8 seconds should have never been considered.
it's not even fun on the Charlie's part it's just boring.
I just want them to give her a different super
my idea for a different super is that her cocoon would be turned into a projectile that rather than stunning would damage and knockback on hit. When it hits an enemy or reaches max range it would spawn a cocoon that gradually spawns spiders as it loses health.
one spider for every 1/7 of its health.
obviously it would need to be some fine-tuning but I think this is a much better idea than her current.

11:37 actually trophies do matter since matchmaking changes on some trophy marks (10k, 20k, 28k, 38k and then it doesnt change) so if they have 8k trophies and rank 30 they arent good, but after 1100 matchmaking removes total trophies based matchmaking so they will get strong oponents and not noobs, so if a person has 3 rank 30 but has 42-50k it would be a lot harder to get than to get 9 rank 30 for 9k player
Hot take : Brawl stars is more pay2win now because most good brawlers are legendary, example : Draco, kit Leon surge Cordelius etc while the bad characters are rare or super rare with some exeptions, example : barley, nita, bull, gus ( underrated )

2: Rarities are defined by how unique a brawler is (at time of release)
So yea, the lower rarities will be less interesting and worse, but the best brawlers in the game are epic and legendary as of rn. Berry, byron, lily, frank, belle, piper, etc.

Leon isn't even that great. Also, legendary brawlers don't always have to be strong. Rarities are based on the depth of the brawlers' mechanics
Hot take: draco is actually balanced because he's basically only good in bb some other maps and Suchs and you can easily kill him if he doesn't have super (you can see if a enemie has super by a small circle below them) and the gadget runs out pretty quick
what?! that is a really hot take. Though he can seem somewhat balanced in some match ups hes really strong with and support brawlers and becomes down right overpowered with the right matchup as he can just run them down.

Yes but not all players play with friends (I don't have one 😭) and even if there is a support brawlers in the game they probably arent coordinated enough to do it. He is op in Bb ik@@tangeloprime

Draco is good by himself too. He gets a lot of pressure. Sure it’s hard to get but you can just rush them to get your first one and if you die at least you have your super. Imo they should buff his base form so it’s not so useless (maybe a movement speed buff cause his damage is already good) and so that some people would use his other star power. In return make his dragon form have like a little bit less speed so you can’t just run up to everyone cycle super and push the enemy back so much.

Hot take: I’m terms of mechanics, Amber is not a legendary. She should be either an epic or mythic. I think Charlie or Melodie could potentially replace her.
No and Amber is so unique, like people keep complaining about her being uniqueless but she's actually so much more than what people think. Also, I don't know why people didn't complain about Spike and Draco because they literally don't fit as a Legendary, Spike is super simple and Draco is more basic than Bonnie

Hot take: kit is an interesting and fun brawler that has maybe the most potential to be a cool, complicated, skillful, and flexible support in the game.
The only times when Kit is interesting and fun to me is when I don't see him in a match or when he gets banned in ranked
bruh kit is the least complicated brawler, since kit will always have super, pretty much everyone plays kit as a hit and run brawler

Without teaming, wintrading, using a brawler that isnt kit edgar or any of the other braindead ones or having more than 4 cubes? Yea probably, above 4 cubes against enemies with less than that is pretty easy to win. Maybe 6 but i’d say 4 is enough.

No modifiers might be more competitive, but all what ranked is now is just power league wich is in my opinion total bullshit,the only difference is just the ranked starr drops, its just so fucking stuipid, modifiers made ranked something new and a breath of fresh air every season with the modifiers, but now its just power league again.
I thought the no modifiers was a glitch and now I'm not doing ranked cuz it's boring and the bad randoms are crazy 😭
I promise you current ranked is almost nothing like power league. Power league is way better if you've been playing power league for a while. Current ranked is so boosted it's ridiculous. It's not fun at all because there's no competitiveness or challenge unlike old power league. Old power league was close to perfection imo. It's fine if not many people play it because alot of people stuck with it ranked is a joke so nobody sticks with it and it's gives people an artificially sense that their good

hot take: modifiers are a good idea and can be competitive too, big friend for example, not only is it really fun, but it also made sone brawlers like (old) frank or bull a chance to shine, which changes the meta and tests your ability to adapt. the bad thing is that the majority of modifiers don’t make out of meta brawlers meta, they only make meta brawlers even more meta, like angelo or piper
