i mean, tbh, the problem is more about how they release the hcs than the hcs themselves, bcouse like you said, they add a new mechanic to the game and make it more fun (unfortunately locked behind 5k gold which not everyone can get it so easily for every brawler), i completely agree with what you said abt "non hc brawlers dont stand a chance against hc brawlers", thats why they should've releades them like how it was with the 2nd starpowers att, but to be fair, i get why they are doing like this, so the hype of hypercharges dont die so soon, anyways, great video
Honestly, hypercharges are way more complex than just passive abilities like starpowers, in fact, they're doing the same thing they did with second gadgets.
First: Great video overall! Second: I feel like use rate is not the most accurate way of saying if brawler is good or not but more of if he is fun to play or not. Third: There will never be true balance in the game with or without HyperCharges Fourth: About the new brawlers you do have a good point but its not just making a strong brawler but to also make it fun and because of that they have to create new abilities some broken and other weak. Regardless of this points I really like the video!
I think one thing they could add for depth without just doing an additional power, would be alternate weapons. It might be hard to balance, but a different weapon for each character what has SLIGHTLY different fire and stats (like a Shelly weapon with longer range, more spread, and less damage) that you would have to pick BEFORE the match starts (like Star powers, gears, and gadgets). It would add depth without an additional button being added, and not being ANOTHER power being added to the game.
Yes ,that’s a cool concept. I can see how it would work for a lot of brawlers, but what about throwers and short range brawlers like el primo? Larry and Lawrie have a gadget that works similarly to what you’re proposing so it’s definitely not something unreasonable.
Darryl hypercharge: Darryl now shows everybody his booty which deals only 17,000 damage to every single enemy on the map and instantly charges super and hypercharge of all allies
my best guess is that balance will only be reached once every brawler has a hypercharge, and according to calculations done by a guy on a disc server im in, that'll only happen in june of 2026, so 2 years from now.
Something insteresting about hypercharges it that when you go into ranked diamond league you see "1/1" above hipercharges. Could mean they gonna add more than 1 HC for each brawler¡¡
There's 2 problems with HCs: 1. They shouldn't release any until they're ready to release them FOR ALL BRAWLERS AT ONCE, 2. They shouldn't be that expensive. 3-4k instead of 5 would be better at least. They make for a cool bit of instant push ability, and change the game 360 degrees (ik)
The problem with the first point is that it will cause chaos in the meta and it will take a while for them to balance them all. By releasing a few at a time they have good control balance-wise
@@longpants108 but they still unsettle the meta by making brawlers 2 tiers higher than they should be without them. No good solution. Current is a constant and long mess, mine would be big mess, but only short-term.
@@sebastianzarek7056 It would not be a short-term mess. It would take a long time to figure out how to balance all the hypercharges in the game if they all came out at once. Releasing them slowly means the mess would normally only last up to two seasons. Better to make 2 brawlers op for a little while than 30 of them op and the rest too weak because their hypercharges aren’t good enough
doing 6 every update is better because it gives them more information about what to do right. they arent going to add 60+ hypercharges in a single update that would be horrible and unbalanced for months
its when new things are added such as new brawlers etc leaving the old ones that arent as unique irrelevant or boring to play examples are darryl, barley before hyper, ash etc
4:13 that triple gene pull was amazing
That's what I'm saying!
They should do a vote for who should get one
Nah because some brawlers are already broken and fan favourites
@@dutchball7119imagine if they vote kit
@@leitor05 hmmm from now on kit stuns the whole map for 3 days
@@dutchball7119supercell is already picking fan favorites tho
@@FulanoPlay yes but then it would probably be even worse

what do you mean by releasing them like they did the 2nd starpowers? aren't they already doing that? like a few of them per update
They made it even harder by removing Hc unleashed

Nice vid, I have been feeling like this for so long it's nice to see others who agree.
4:10 that was so clean!
They don't change the gameplay like gadgets or even gears do they just make the game more p2w

it's still made them so much less skilled
Damn I'm waiting for Darryl hypercharge, I have lvl 11 him and I'm gonna buy the whole pack with pin, icon and spray

Yo LDOG keep posting bro
forget if it makes it p2w, the skill of the game is lost so much with them
Instead of complaining about feature creep people should complain about the INSANE powercreep.
ya ofc! they are ruinning our boy darryl ;(
