  • My sincere apologies for being late, but today I want to share this moment to show you and answer a question about the new Hyundai IONIQ 6. I am standing in a local department, actually a Hyundai department store (yes, related to Hyundai Motors!), to show you everything you need to know about Hyundai IONIQ 6, at least as much as I know. IONIQ 6 is Hyundai’s 2nd attempt at cracking the EV market after the Hyundai IONIQ 5. But compared to IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6 seems very different, although both are based on the new e-GMP platform. IONIQ 6 is powered by either a single motor (350Nm) or a dual motor (605Nm). And with a single charge, IONIQ 6 will get you 379miles (WLTP standard). So, let’s meet the Hyundai IONIQ 6 in person and see how you like it.

    I've rented a Kia Ray before during a trip to Jeju Island, and I must say it's a very practical and spacious vehicle given its compact outlook. It felt a little underpowered and it came with a CVT gearbox(not my favourite), but understandable given its small engine capacity. Its a perfect city car that can be used as an errand companion for the weekend. If it was offered in my country, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Its a fun and practical vehicle. 👍

    best value for money. very roomy and reliable. to me, the biggest downside is torque or more precisely, its absence. by the Korean law, 1 liter engine is the maximum displacement to be qualified as a "compact" car. So I don't blame Kia for the tiny engine. But gear ratios or transmission logics could have been set up way better. e.g with AC on, there is literally no acceleration. Also, lots of vibration comes from a 3cyl engine, especially when car is at full stop on "D". this irritates me. tired of replacing engine&transmission mounts 3 times within 6 years. nevertheless, it's a really good car

  • @mikadavies660
    @mikadavies660 2 года назад

    Kia Ray needs to be electric only.... Not a stupid tiny petrol engine that will not last 100,000 miles. Perfect city car, love the "no pillar" design. Maximum use of space and flexible interior. Unfortunately it will never be seen in UK.

    I love such cars! I don't need more in my life! But nothing for Europe, here we need more huge SUVs and AMGs, not compact gas savers at a gas price of €2.15 ($2.15) per liter! Because otherwise our government won't earn anything with almost 50% tax on petrol! 🤭
