From my teen years I struggled with lust and thought if I would get married would leave it but still it continued to plague me until I got sick with Covid in 2020 it was a wake up call when I was in the hospital in my death bed, I realized I waited so much time!!I made a promise to God if you will let me live I will fully give my life to you Lord! When I (recently) got delivered, saved and born again, and learned (to my great surprise) that _that_ was a sin and repented and vowed to never do it again so long as I live, I started (for the first time in my life) having dreams about it and my will was completely controlled and I was doing what I did not want to do! I would jolt awake, horrified, rebuking and calling on Jesus! I was tormented for months. I know that's a succubus spirit. It's demonic. It confirms for me that it really is a sin and isn't, what Satan tried to whisper, some prudish and obsessed preacher's invention. I want nothing to do with demons and darkness! I rejoice and praise hallelujah that you have the voice of the Lord giving you scriptures when you are being attacked! Confirmation that you are loved and precious and protected! The fact that you are convicted enough to confess this publicly means there is hope. Remove all sources that contribute to your sin. If it's a computer, magazines, videos etc throw all of it out. Get a non-smart phone if the phone causes a problem. If it's clothing, change what you wear. A friend of mine was in love with silk sheets and silk PJs, but she had to get rid of them it was causing her to sin. You have to be willing to cut yourself off from the gateways to sin. The way an addict or alcoholic in recovery can't go back to the old sources and hangouts if they want to stay in sobriety.
Repent and turn away from your sin. Trust in Jesus fully.
Do you drink alcohol? That can be something that kicks up stuff because you start getting bored with life and you look for "fun" or an escape and also do not watch worldly movies and stuff I haven't even had many sexual thoughts for a month or two and I watched a Hollywood movie for the first time in awhile tonight and a few thoughts creeped in...so I have been sober for a long time and that made it easy to stop looking for "fun" or an escape because perverse behavior was like an escape to me and then like any addiction I got more perverse so you have to be one hundred percent sober. Which I hope u are if you're a Christian...and stay away from movies that are "Hollywood" they always throw in stuff to subconsciously get you out of your zone.

A few years ago I almost had a affair with a man and Almost committed Adultery. I was NOT strong enough and was weak. In result we lost our apartment but Now I know that was God’s doing . He removed me from that block because he knew what I was fighting. The Flesh is a strong thing!! Not many people can say no . But I’m Grateful for what God did because God knows I most likely would of had that affair and possibly could of destroy my marriage.
