      @@t1redguyAsk how and ask why. Be concerned. Literally treat others as you want to be treated. If you are with a friend you really aren’t doing the best and you want them to ask how you are, first ask them how they are. Let yourself be curious.

      Treat people the way they should be treated, not how you wanted to be treated by them.
      Focus on what you have some chance of control not on thing you cant which is most of the things in life, try to form a reason why people behave the way they do and compare those reason with yours.
      The more you understand the human behaviour the way it is, more interesting the world becomes for you.

    • @Rufio1975
      @Rufio1975 4 месяца назад

      @@DanteXMLBBI agree but that doesn't make you more interesting. That has nothing to do with learning to be a more interesting person. Its about trying different things and learning how to o different things. Exposing yourself to all sorts of things. A human stew. That makes you more interesting. Be Stew my friend

    • @DanteXMLBB
      @DanteXMLBB 4 месяца назад +1

      @@Rufio1975 being intereting is like planting a flower, you dont make the flowers. let the timeless way guide you, if you are trying to be interesting you are doing it wrong. and i agree with your statement about the human stew , exposing ourselves is what we called observing the patterns of human behaviour.
      so the next step is to practice the patterns and adapt the patterns in your own life, people with or without knowing the patterns will find you more interesting and confident with a deep sense of meaning or purpose in life.

The only thing I’ll add is show people you are interesting early and often. The most interesting people I know launch into good stories early and often without being asked.
    Also it’s ok to exaggerate some details to make your stories more interesting. Everyone else is doing it.

    Off topic to this video but I just started journaling several topics in a travelers notebook and I have one that basically falls under “book journal” I give me thoughts on passages on books/stories as a whole etc. and I know you like your fancy words so if you stretch this one’s definition it works perfectly as a name for this type of journal. MARGINALIA - the notes or comments left in the margins of books
    Which is exactly why I have the journal to leave those notes without having to leave ink on the pages of whatever work I’m reading. Great word honestly

    This video answered my question to the why but also inspired me to pick up old hobbies that I've been itching to mess around with too :] It also explained why my best friend and I click so well. We both find each other to be mutually interesting and can provide each other with stimulating conversations.

    🤔 Small talk can be nice and safe, in my opinion, and it's a good place to start a conversation when you don't know the people around you. I find it less intrusive than someone popping out strange questions, or asking about the extremes one has encoutered through out life. I guess that's because I'm introvert, in a way. I never know why someon I just met would want to know what's the most interesting place I have visited and why. What do they want to do with that info? Are they really interested? Will my answer actually have an impact? Or is it a sort of competition where the person with the most interesting answer wins? I think the most interesing people make you feel at ease and can seamlessly turn small talk into a philosophical conversation. Interesting people stumble upon connections you can follow, that uncover the deep thoughts behind the mundane.

    Honestly #3 is great dating advice for men! In 52 years of life, I've met maybe 2 men who ever actually asked me any questions about myself, let alone interesting ones. Honestly, though, I don't know that one can just magic up a *genuine* interest that leads to interesting/deep questions. I think the root of the problem is that most men just truly are not that interested in women as full, complex human beings.
