I recently upgraded my system with the same identical processor and motherboard. I went from a Asus Z-87 motherboard with an Intel I7-4770K. Because the old motherboard had pretty slow DDR4 memory (32GB) I decided to upgrade to 64GB of DDR5 memory and even though I had a SSD (2.5") because that motherboard didn't support M.2 I upgraded to Samsung 990 Pro 1TB M.2 primary and a Samsung 990 Pro 2TD as a secondary drive. By going with the M.2's that freeded up two SATA ports. Since this system is my primary Plex Server having two more SATA ports allows further expansion of the Plex server. I kept my video card as it was a Asus RTX2060 and worked just fine for helping with transcoding. I also kept the computer case as it was a Antec P280 tower case and I already had a 750 watt power supply which was already overkill with the old system. Not many computer cases have the number of drive bays as the P-280 does. I do have one question and that has to do with the placement of the radiator, do you think it might be more efficient if it had been placed facing up through the top? I mean heat rises, plus it would have helped pull heat from the rest of the case.
Mounting it on top is always best.
How do you get the drivers for the motherboard? Mine needs them too
mmm i7 with 1070 is crazy. you know what's crazier? i5 13600k with gtx 970) I think the video card is enough for the first time and then I will switch to 4070

i got the asus prime z790 p wifi and i9 13900k is it ok? ppl say it is not good motherboard ☹️
Can't say for sure.
i have the ddr5 version on the way, i saw a few bad reviews but it seems a bios update fixed most issues, my board has yet to arrive (pairing with ddr5 5600 32gb and a 13600k) tho so im not sure, one note is that it comes with a cdrom instead of a usb thumb drive for drivers

You should be able to get everything off their website and put on a thumb drive
someone told me that asus prime z790 p wifi dont work good with i9 13900k and dont maximize full potantial of the processer and going hot is it right plz help i have this motherboard and i hope i didnt make mistake.. i got the i9 13900k
If you have it already then run it and see what happens

Unlikely to notice much change.
If you Check your task Manager and see what percent your CPU is running at while gaming then you'll know if an update is needed

There is no great way to do a 3 stick ram install.
But you do install them in channels that are even or odd with the same types.

@@GearsAndTech I'd recommend taking that 3rd stick out, it's only going to run in single channel mode and slow your memory down by half. I'm assuming those two corsairs are 16gb each, and the mismatched one is a 8gb... but honestly, that 8gb is doing more harm than good. 32gb is going to be more than enough, and you will gain a lot of performance by not using that 3rd stick at all.
