idk why you guys are always relating to some "overrated" 😂 I just read comments that throw hate at people seeming to try downgrading her but do they really exist? 🤔 I guess you losties already imagine some conspiracies against your fav stars. Factss are that Bey got some several jobs on her body done before she blew like most of those starios did so are we praising the real keeper or are we praising the fraud?
I cannot speak for everyone, but I think for me its because she has not done anything that hasn't already been done before. Tina and the Ikettes, MJ, his sister Janet were big influences on her and it shows (and there is absolutely nothing wrong w that, you want to be the best then learn from the best, so this is not about her work ethic). Her music is another and main thing for me. I love Bey's motivation, but MJ's songs hit the world differently than her songs does/did. So her music, imo is not as strong as past generations before hers imo. Even Kelly has a number one song before Beyonce.. You can be a great performer, but it's always going to be about the music in the end for me personally, and Bey is more of a pop act than a songwriter. Music should be the most important part to a singers career not dance. (This is an example why Rihanna has more hits perhaps she has a better writing team than Bey?) I hope this helps from one person's perspective on why people feel Beyonce is overrated. Love her I just need more than a wig in the fan cause we have seen that before her and will also after her. Give me the music 🎶

Very proud of her. I have been a fan since I was a child and I saw how this woman worked hard to achieve what she achieved and that no one can take away from her. She is an inspiration to me with all her power, influence and legacy. She is a QUEEN 👑🐝❤✌🏽

anyone who calls her overrated is sick and twisted this woman worked her ass off and all your favourite artists know it too
the two arguments can co-exist. if anything, comments about her being overrated have a lot more to do with the media overrating her instead of Beyoncé herself as an artist. yes, she's an excellent singer and performer. yes, she works hard. but there are other excellent singers and performers who work hard too that the media doesn't recognize for whatever reason. I do think she's overrated; or rather, the media overrates her. but I also think she's an amazing singer and performer. now to me what's crazy is if people don't recognize the latter.
@@fajarzakri4936 in that case those other artists are underrated. just because there are some artists who work as hard and don't get recognition it doesn't mean she is overrated... plus she is underrated in way too many aspects; her songwriting is barely recognised, her voice is usually overlooked bcz of her performer look and so many other things like vocal layering,producing,visualing and many more

The amount of inspiration this just gave me.
Also Beyonce's first ever solo project flopped. It was " Work it out" produced by Pharell.
She regrouped, came up with a new strategy and came back with the album "Dangerously in Love". Her record label rejected the project and said there was no hit and it would flop again. She insisted and gave us Crazy in Love, Baby Boy, Naughty Girl etc...so it really is a marathon. And so many people did tell her no! You can't do it. Just my 2 cents lol!
Wow and look how big “Crazy In Love” is. Likeee all of her albums have THAT song. For me, on B-Day it’s “Irreplaceable”, “Single Ladies” from IASF, “Best Thing I Never Had” from 4, “Drunk In Love” from Self-Titled, and “Hold Up” or “Formation” from Lemonade
@@eemanagement3199 all of the albums like you said! But it's still pretty crazy to think that her record label was not into the first one, the very album that pretty much started her journey as a superstar.
I love that song but that song was for Austin Powers . It wasn't like it was on her album. Calling it a flop is a little harsh for a soundtrack single that's usually never expected to do much.
@@thejenesisb5444 I like work it out but rumors said the whole 1st album would of had a funk soul sound similar to the single and that was scrapped. How true it is don’t know. But work it out had some modest success I remember it on MTV it got decent airplay.

Beyonce is something else...every time I hear her story, it almost makes me have a second life and makes me want to get up and go. I didn't even fight for my dreams bc I was too afraid to fail and waste my parent's time. Everyone wants to be something, and certainly, there was no way I could ever amount to Beyonce's level. Beyonce had so much support and teaching from her parents, but also this immense drive. She believed in herself and had a shoulder to cry on when she questioned her abilities. Beyonce will forever be my role model bc she shows me that having drive and conviction will take me farther than fear and hate. I will put in more for myself.
She has been in the game since I was born. I say that cause "No, No, No" came out when I was 7 months old.

@siolles dauph chile bye, when destiny’s child first came out. They were a group. They all worked collectively to make a name for THEIR GROUP, even when they were little girls. Beyoncé got her solo career based off the success of the group. Had she went solo straight off hand she probably wouldn’t even have a blossoming career as she does today. Beyoncé is not an icon and will probably never be but she definitely is a legend.
It really bothered me that most media reports loves to leave out the fact that Beyoncé knew LaTavia AND LeToya before Kelly. Her and Kelly only became closer because she lived with Beyoncé.
LeToya & LaTavia are important to the DC legacy as much as people try to discredit them and lastly, ALL THREE MEMBERS HAD SOLO SUCCESS DURING THEIR HIATUS. So, leaving Michelle’s accomplishments out was tacky. *sigh*
