Fiirst time I ever cared to search for a lyricist was for "Moh Moh ke dhaage", and since then made it a point to look for every artist's name aginst each work. Bht bht dhanyawaad to lyricists for giving words to human emotions. You deserve every praise. 🙏😊❤️ #CreditDedoYaar

Behatareen baatcheet! Laga ki kuch doston ki gapp goshthi chal rahi hai, jismein muddon per bhi baat ho rahi hai. It was such a delight to listen to all the lyricists and the wonderful poetic moderator!!!
I think the lyrics are the heart of the entire song or poem/rhyme or any kind of musical writing. Today’s generation cares so little. It is their responsibility too to know more about the credits. When you watch the movies , Bollywood or Hollywood, I think a major difference is in the way the credits are running on the screen. That has to be made more interesting. So the viewer takes interest to watch it, know more about it. Pehle baat kuch aur hoti thi, humse pehle ki generation ko her ek aspect ki importance hoti thi. Abhi naheen hota is generation mein. This has to come back. And all the lyricist on the panel have made such a beautiful effort to get the focus back on good quality lyrics. We are coming back to the road that leads us to the right path. Shelly ji has rightly said, you listen to Satinder Sartaj and very beautifully he weaves his name in each song he writes. So yes, you all are putting the right foot forward NOW! The more you popularise this issue, the more people (aam janata like us) will join you.
Atleast from now we viewers or listeners of music should read credits & acknowledge the lyricist in comment section of the music streaming platforms. This will motivate our lyricists & will continue their fight against unfair treatment they are facing.

I don't know about others, but I definitely search for lyricist for every song I like. And on jio savn, I often search Manoj Muntshir, Amitabh Bhattachrya, Irshad Kamil, Kausar Munir and play d radio. There are many like me, pls believe this.

Obviously Sirs .As an ordinary listener would like to see names of Lyricists alongwith composers and singers.would never have known some of the great songs were written by people like Shailendra, Gulzaar,Anand Bakshi had these not been told to us on Radio.Its an art and should have names of artists.

I always hear about these issue about lyricist in main stream.. But almost all the Punjabi single tracks have lyricists name/last name in the song. So when people are listening to the song they will know who has written the song.
Achhe film maker acchi film ke sath sath acche geetkar, lekhak, singers, visual artists aur naye dhang me kala dikhane wale bohat sare kalakaro ko lekar aata hai aur filmo ko dekhne dikhane ka tarika hi badal deta hai. Aise film maker me Pehla naam aata hai jo dimaag me aata hai wo Anurag Kashyap hai.
when we hear songs on the lines of "Char Bottle Vodka" and " Gandi Baat" , I don't believe anyone would care for who is the lyricist. We as listeners need to develop taste for good content and that would come from giving credit where it is due. So that people know that something is being appreciated for special efforts.
When a person uses the lyrics of lyricist and composes in his own way then sometimes they get copyright claimed from the companies not form the lyricist. Why?
