Wow ... compelled me to comment which I usually refrain from doing... it is the most illuminating and encouraging interview which I have ever watched .. Varun's intellect is so hypnotic that interviewer, despite of being highly intellectual himself, got carried away and started debating on plight of artists issue, which an interviewer should never do....hats off..!

This is some other level althogether. I only recently came to know about Varun as I am got a big Hindi movie fan. But I have always been drawn towards great writing and great comedy. This guy has thoroughly impressed me. His honesty pulls so many strings in me. It is extremely rare to see someone so self aware and even rarer for him to articulate himself so well.
Nice interview I have ever watched. I am a big fan of Varun. True soul.

Varun Grover you are a man with exceptional virtue and wisdom. The level of facts and content u put inspires us all to be more analytical, ambitious, clear, hardworking and courageous.
I think one day you will be known as another Gulzar and Javed Akhtar in film industry and literature.
At the end, the interviewer sahab said that only one 'moh' would have sufficed the song 'ye moh moh ke dhaage' which I think was an absolute incorrect assessment to prove his excellence. But, it was good to see that Varun didn't even tried to contemplate on this through unnecessary explanation delivery on a craft well thought and designed by himself.
Last but not the least, I have seen few interviews of famous personalities on Guftagoo but this was the best so far. And, I can hear Varun Grover thoughts at any platform with any duration whatsoever.

Guys, how hard is it to subtitle these videos for the rest of us sometimes. Grover especially seems so interesting (and yeah, way cute) and so often is talking about the things that most interest me about India...his humor, intelligence, and compassion come through so strongly I can just sit and listen to him speak Urdu for an hour (sorry folks, I don't believe in Hindi). But every now and then I'd just like to have complete meaning and every nuance as well. Subtitling is an editing-program breeze these days; and there are non-Indians out here who want to know more.

Varun Grover sounds very knowledgeable and sensible person and we need these kind of people, not like KJ and gang to make films. Having said that, i liked listening to the anchor, he seems to be a very seasoned, knowledgeable, sensible, very dignified person. A great example of how to take interviews. His every interview is a lesson for today's journalists and interviewers. But they think they know everything isn't it? Don't learn good things from others, their motto. Don't believe? Watch any interview on ndtv or any such channels. They only try to grill and interrogate, rather than ask interesting, purposeful questions and more than that they don't listen to others, they think they are experts on anything and everything. Sad...
