The joy of just being able to run your trains outside. Where they were meant to be. Great little setup of the timeless folded "dog bone". Simple for wiring and easy to install. I really enjoyed watching your train run and envy you as I haven't been able to accomplish this feat yet.
That train was an exclusive done by PIKO for Gold Coast Station train store in California. I happen to have the same engine and some matching passenger cars.

i just bought this same locomotive and i was wondering if you changed out the coupler on the back of the tender car, i have a bachmann wonderland flyer they have the claw type connectors. can you put them on the 4449 tender car.
I actually have one of these, except mine is the Union Pacific one. Also, were did you find this one? I've seen a lot of PIKO trains in different variations, but I've never seen one designed like the morning daylight.

Neat idea on the set up. With that idea almost any gauge or scale could be run outside, just have to fins track that will not rust or corrode away.
