@@bongieger7871 Hi - you need to use some time to understand how the crystals can get space and conditioning to be built in the nature. We do often search for pegmatites. If you do find a trace of a pegmatite you can try to find the center of the pegmatie. If you are lucky you can try to find a space in the center of the pegmatite with free crystals. But you can also find nice crystals in pegmatites without free space. In the movies some of the caves are found directly in the granite, you don’t need to find a pegmatite. In this case we have followed the border between granite and overlapping rock, often formed by old sediments. The caves formed by gases. The caves do often appear 1to 5 meters away from the sediments into the granite. You can also be lucky without following borders between two different rock types. Some areas in the granites do have a lot of caves, maybe because overlaying the pressure suddenly has dropped in that area when the granite has crystallized. If yo do know good places found by some other people, you can search in the surroundings. For example I have found a caves with aquamarines hidden just under some leafs, 10 meters from a well known spot in Norway. Hundreds of people have been digging aquamarine on this particular spot for 30 years, none of them had walked 10 meters up the hill to search the surroundings. The cave with aquamarines was just on the surface. Shiny aquamarines was visible under o,5 millimeter the leafs. I will never forget the feeling when the blue (With some yellow) colors was shining in the sun on the surface. I hope you will be lucky and get a experience like this in the future:)
@@norgemining9126 ah okay interesting. maybe i will learn more about this later in my studies. i got a bachelors in geography but switched to geology because its just so much more interesting. i hope you dont mind me asking more 😂. i know what a pegmatite is, but when you say you go look for pegmatites, are we talking about huuuge pegmatites that show up on bedrock maps? i moved to sweden and the bedrock maps here often show pegmatites but i never actually saw one that had larger minerals than maybe 2-3cm. or do you mean that you are looking for pegmatite intrusions and if so, how do you find them? couldnt they just be anywhere? also about the contacts, the way i understand it is that you look for borders older granite with younger sedimentary rocks because the pressure at the contact would have melted parts of the granite?
@@bongieger7871 Hi I will try to explain something complicated in a easy way - when the pegmatite crystallized, the atoms will need smaller space when the pegmatite is cooling down. In the center, the last place where it cools down, you sometimes will get a open space. That space can give room for the most beautiful crystals growing free. The other answer about granite happens often 10 km down in the deep. You can for example have the sediments on the sea floor. Deep ounder you can get hot magma pushing upwards. The magma doesn’t brake through, and crystallize as a granite. On the side and the top of the magma, it will sometimes be a lot of gas bubbles pushing uppwards. The bubbles will be stopped by the overlaying sediments. 1-5 meters into the granite. When the granite crystallize, beautiful crystals can grow in the free into the bubbles of gas :)

Flere av disse forekomstene er funnet ved spor lest i omkringliggende fjell. Deretter er det å ofte å grave en meter eller to ned i bakken og igjen håpe på ar det er noe der. Det er noen år siden filmene ble laget, (1998 -2006) Det er planer om å snart sette sammen flere filmer, men jeg har prioritert leting etter metall forekomster for gruvedrift.
