I'm 62 and have had pigeons of all kinds "" off and on "" since I was 14-15 years old. Ferals -Barn pigeons- Bridge pigeons are all pretty much the same birds and come in a huge variety of colors. I've also had a few feral pigeons in with my bona-fide Homers that flew home just like the homers. I've had a few that always came home, but a day later than the rest. I've read a few articles that stated that feral pigeons are the ""Super Pigeons "" of the world due to the different types of pigeons and blood lines and genetics they have! All very serious stuff! I was raised in northern NJ in the shadow of NYC and at one time the hotbed of Pigeoneers of all kinds. You're very inspiring and I'm glad I found your channel. I live in Amishland middle of PA theses days. Take care of yourself and safe travels and God bless!
Your getting good with that net catching pigeons like a pro. Some of them new birds are beautiful really interesting patterns on their wings. And you'll probably be able to hold onto them if Bobby wasn't born in a barn LOL. Thank you for sharing Jordans peace out
In my opinion I think the feral homers make the best racers they are better at finding food and evading hawk attacks and they also have the ability of gliding from the air directly into the loft without landing first, I always thought that was cool 😎
Dude I know I haven't been able to be on lately. Work life and health have held me up. You got some awesome looking birds. The reds are sweet. Keep on keeping on
I ask because here in ny the wild pigeons are mostly blue bars and blue checks some blacks But In Europe they have a lot of your colors The birds look very wild . Can I ask what part of the country you are located in
What do you do with them?? Who buys them? Hunters? Ive heard of people eating them , will you raise them to eat or just for fun.. This is fun to watch thanks for sharing!! I personally like the whites those are my fav...
Here’s a fun fact since you like the reds so much. Breeding an all white with an all black bird usually results in red offspring. At least from my experience. Something to think about. Keep up the great content. Love the shooting videos but love the pigeon videos a tad more lol.
I I used to have a pigeon but not any more I'm living in Michigan in the city I live in thy dont want have pigeon any more I love pigeon and I watch you RUclips I. I like it thank you so much for sharing this
Best hobby in the world when i was a kid in 1970s dublin id catch strays mostly british racers that hit bad weather i joined a club and raced ybs off these and beat the top pigeon mens very expensive pedigree birds with some races having thousands of birds its all down to happy well trained healthy birds all the best with your pigeons
So, are you going to coop them up so they don't just fly back to Dustin's? Pigeons don't need to be homers to go back to their own loft if they aren't separated by some good milage.
I’m very new to the breed but I have noticed that they struggle with large seeds (corn). I have also heard the they sometimes have issues with feeding the young.
Have zero pigeon and dove friends in my state now. I ATM keep a pair of diamond doves and have 3 Capuchines. I love red bar, grizz, tiger, and dulut blue.
Sorry I just do not understand .are these the wild pigeons Homer’s, fancies, Do you just keep them wild in the barns and never let them out Ceiling are so high it makes it difficult to catch them
Jordans Harvest I’ve always wanted to have one for some reason when it’s very illogical for living in just a normal house 😂 I just always remember chasing them as a kid and even now I always end up staring and watching them
O like this project a lot and I'm still buying my things to start the projects but now covid affected my plans but I'll keep on working untill I get what want

Never thought I would get into watching pigeon vids but you got me hooked. Keep them coming brother
Isn’t strange how pigeons do that! Will do!
That squeaker you had was just magnificent. Perfect color gradient, dark to light with a red tint, loved it! Sweet video, keep it up!
It’s one of my favorites for sure!!!
Thanks and will do!
Great colors on your birds. You make catching them look real easy
Thanks!

Very day I watch your videos I am Pigeons lover from Atlanta Georgia
Hi Jordan, is there any chance that you could do more bids on dustan or similar lofts if not both. Thanks in advance
Your getting good with that net catching pigeons like a pro. Some of them new birds are beautiful really interesting patterns on their wings. And you'll probably be able to hold onto them if Bobby wasn't born in a barn LOL. Thank you for sharing Jordans peace out

Beautiful birds. I kinda have a soft spot for the reds but the gris's are up there too. Great video as always!
Thanks Patti!
In my opinion I think the feral homers make the best racers they are better at finding food and evading hawk attacks and they also have the ability of gliding from the air directly into the loft without landing first, I always thought that was cool 😎
I never thought about it like that!
How do you know if there were nesting and have babies as you kept catching and putting in the cage
can you please upload another video showing us the other pigeons and the whole barn loft
I’ll try and do that! It’ll probably be a couple videos for now though
Hey Jordan, can you make a video on dastun’s chicken coop, where the silkies ran to when you where filming…

Crazy dudes it is crazy the way you walk around that loft I was nervous
Been waiting for this one. Love it!

You’re building some beautiful stock there Buckwheat 👍
I can’t wait to see what you breed up
Great job
Thanks! The waiting for them to pair up is going to drive me nuts!
Awesome birds.... Keep it going Kin Folk 👍....
Thanks dude! Will do

Keep on keeping on

The birds look very wild . Can I ask what part of the country you are located in
Central Kansas
A beautiful part of our country
That was awesome man, keep it up with the great videos 👍👍👍
Thanks dude! It means a lot
What do you do with them?? Who buys them? Hunters? Ive heard of people eating them , will you raise them to eat or just for fun.. This is fun to watch thanks for sharing!! I personally like the whites those are my fav...
I keep most of them. Sometimes dog trainers buy my feral birds
Here’s a fun fact since you like the reds so much. Breeding an all white with an all black bird usually results in red offspring. At least from my experience. Something to think about. Keep up the great content. Love the shooting videos but love the pigeon videos a tad more lol.
Thanks for the info dude! I love learning new things
For real thanks helped more then one person !
I I used to have a pigeon but not any more I'm living in Michigan in the city I live in thy dont want have pigeon any more I love pigeon and I watch you RUclips I. I like it thank you so much for sharing this
Thanks so much for watching!!!
Thumbs up as always Jordan!!
Thanks Jason! I appreciate it
Love the 🕊videos
Awesome!
Yeah me too. Makes me want to get started.
Keep up the good work
The red you like with white in it is Recessive Red. When you breed it it can’t produce its own color unless the mate carries the recessive red gene.

That sounds epic!
Were those little ones mode as you put on the floor
P
Modenas
I don’t have any baby modenas right now but hopefully soon!!!!
i really like the pure red bar
So, are you going to coop them up so they don't just fly back to Dustin's? Pigeons don't need to be homers to go back to their own loft if they aren't separated by some good milage.
That’s part of it. I also have a hawk problem as well as them getting “stolen “ by the town birds that feed close to my house
Very good work 💪
This is what I appreciates about you!
Is That what you appreciate futurelegend...... lol
Hay man love the videos keep it up bro do you have any suggestions on finding public dove hunting land
Kansas has a “directory” and I imagine that other states have one too. But scouting is the answer to consistent success
Nice thanks
Nice video my man!!
Thanks dude!
I love pigeons . SUBSCRIBED
THE BEST VIDEO EVER THANK YOU YOURE THE BEST
Thank you!
The red blue and white is a rare color called mosaic. It’s just a random mutation that does not reproduce.
Thanks for the info bro!
Great stuff as always
Thanks!
Hay I want to get into old german owls do they need any extra care since they have smaller beaks?
I’m very new to the breed but I have noticed that they struggle with large seeds (corn). I have also heard the they sometimes have issues with feeding the young.
Have zero pigeon and dove friends in my state now. I ATM keep a pair of diamond doves and have 3 Capuchines. I love red bar, grizz, tiger, and dulut blue.
Jordans Harvest thank you good to know. What would you do in the case of them not being able to feed their squab
What does the buyer do with the pigeons that he buys from your friend.
He is a dog trainer
Nice birds that's a good score
Thank you!
Big thanks to Dustin for making it happen!
I will watch this a few times..... 😀
Awesome! I appreciate it
Nice video 👍👍👍
Thanks dude!
Those grizz's are really cool
I really like em!
What happens if the ferals your caught in your barn have babies or eggs?
Sorry I just do not understand .are these the wild pigeons Homer’s, fancies,
Do you just keep them wild in the barns and never let them out
Ceiling are so high it makes it difficult to catch them
They are fun colored wild type pigeons. If I let them out they get hunted by some of the locals
where do you get your pigeons
Most are wild caught but the fancys are from local breeders
@@JordansHarvest are they in fort wayne are other
because i need new pigeons
If you're not trading them can you say what he charges between what and what prices?
He normally get $4-$5 a piece
Can you trade Medina's with white or fancy
Yay pigeon vid
👏👏👏
Great vid jordan im late cuz ive been fox shooting and got one
Just one! Slacker lol
@@JordansHarvest haha its harder than u think
Try catching the birds at night in future and save a lot of stress on the birds.
Nice video
hi wanted to know what Amish auction you go to
It’s in central Kansas.
Ahhhh I love the pigeons
I have a soft spot for them myself !
Jordans Harvest I’ve always wanted to have one for some reason when it’s very illogical for living in just a normal house 😂 I just always remember chasing them as a kid and even now I always end up staring and watching them
Red Ash Bars!
I have about 30 pigeons in my barn that are wild if you want to come get them LOL you can also come look at all of my Boer goats
Well. That might have to go on the to do list!
O like this project a lot and I'm still buying my things to start the projects but now covid affected my plans but I'll keep on working untill I get what want
Make sure you fly all these young birds
How can you tolerate a loft that is 5x taller than you, what a pain to try and catch the pigeons
I’m just doing the best that I can with what I have available. A proper loft would be awesome though!
@@JordansHarvest you could make 2 or three levels there, wont be expensive
You should put the all white pigeons in another loft so you will also have more pure white pigeons
That’s a great idea!
Would he possibly sell some now that the sell is over
I think he sold all the “extras” he had
Oh ok thank you
Here’s a Tip catch them when it’s getting dark .
can you home train or loft train a baby feral
What you mean by feral?
A.B.C Loft feral means wild
Allways on
👍
If they're nesting and you dont know which ones are arent u taking them away from their eggs???
It’s a possibility. The ones with bands at his loft are his breeders though, so it’s a lot lower risk
@@JordansHarvest I meaning from your own loft.
Jordan are going to sell out this.
ok boyssss
Not many hard working kids like Justin
Not at all!
Best wishes channel onwer MR jordans harvest dont stop
I’ll buy all your Ferrell pigeons
You should trade pigeons for a couple of pheasants.
I would love that! But I don’t have a license for pheasants at this point
Why don't u build some smaller sections for your birds and try to tame them down a bit. You will get more enjoyment with your birds.
🕊🕊🕊
by the looks of it you like colourful pigeon , why dont you check afghan pigeons . you will love them .....
Do the pretty ones make better tasting jerky? 😂
Absolutely! Lol
I'm in Zimbabwe
Home alone lost in new York? Oh nope, another Jordans pigeon vidya lol
LoL! Hopefully just as entertaining!
@@JordansHarvest for sure! Definitely digging it
And check the timing
Buy more bands so you know how many pigeons
I should! I just need to go and do it
are you sall the balck king baby
Hi
I’m still looking for a good Leon. 😁
Ok thanks
Food for thort
Please give me 20 birds i like this birds im her in the Philippines bro thank you
Cool first
Paul! RUclips notifications must not like you LoL. It put you as the 3rd place “first” to come through. Better luck next time
@@JordansHarvest RUclips can suck my toe
Keep as many blue bars as you can, and thin out the checkered and grizzled.
But I love the griz!
why don't you guys keep racing pigeons instead of feral pigeons?
I don’t have the time to do racing pigeons justice.
Wow super Dear, Lovely video Dear,

Thank you!
Why do you want colorful pigeons? They all taste the same - no?
Why do catch wild bird why not use domestic pigeon.
