Wow, that's a great video. Your ride in the beautiful forest is so interesting and wonderful. I love the Downhill course. The scenery around Single Road is so beautiful. You're very skilled when you're downhill. It's the best moment to jump off a wooden pedestal. I'm glad to be a friend of your great channel. Happy New Year. Always stay healthy. 👍👍👍🤝🤝🤝🤙🤙👌
Man so awesome to see kids out there! It seems like whenever I ride I only see people my age (old) and get kinda' discouraged that there's no next generation of mountain bikers. Guess I should ride more at the trails with jump lines and skills parks.
YO! I'm 5 minutes down the road from Blankets and as a fellow "old guy" at 33 I'm always stoked when there's a huge group of these kids out there. They've pushed me further and further on my jumping progression. Great kids out there
@@BMWRacing9 so cool that there is truly something for everyone at blankets no matter your skill level! VMT's rework just made a fun trail even better and faster!
Rode there twice, just don't have the legs though. Quit for a few years then bought an ebike. Common story. Now I'm about to go visit all my faves again. This place is high up on the list.
On the berm to berm before the shark fin, throw in a manual between the first two berms it will keep you smooth and give you speed into the shark fin if you don't want to hop between those first two berms.
I used to live in georgia and i remember when this was getting built back in 2011. I wish I could go back there cuz I'd be hitting them jumps like a fricken champion
Heading to windrock on Sunday for my first time... weather permitting ... I have heard how steep and gnarly it is so I’d like it to at least be semi dry 😂
@@MtbFrequentFlyer Jarrods place has a nice flow trail (not the jumplines), Allatoona Creek has the best flow trails in my opinion because it isn’t as “xc” like compared to blankets. But this is just my opinion
@@cartermacrenaris705 I agree that Allatoonas flow trails are sick I just wish they were longer... till I have to make that sundew road climb and then I am glad they are short lol Hoping to get out to Jarrod's place sometime soon!
The young dude on $400 bike was killing it .... great looking park with fun for all 🤘
It really blows me away what these young shredders can do with department store bikes!
@@MtbFrequentFlyer yeah for sure ... and here is me almost 50 and on a $6k 2021 new bike and can’t do half the stuff 🤦♂️
I just got that same bike
Thanks @DM MTB I don’t even remember how old I was when he filmed this video but that GT definitely did the job of getting me into the freeride scene
Visiting family in Georgia next week and planning some riding. Happy to find your videos! We used to ride scooters at the skatepark back in the day
I love these GA videos it’s good to see my home trails on yt since they’re kinda small
Not a ton of elevation but they sure do pack the miles into a small area

Did you check out Dwelling loop with the flow trail in middle? I love blankets!
Dwelling was closed that day unfortunately 😭
I love that flow trail!
Nice riding, trails look so flowy!

Great video. I’m hoping to go out there next week.
Were you able to go? If so, how was it? (And how bad were the climbs?😂). I want to try it out next weekend.
It wasn’t bad. The day we went I felt like the trail flow was going backwards. I think regular days would be better. Overall nice place.
I havent gotten out to Blankets since the VMT rebuild! It looks so nice!
Vmt was running so much better than it ever was before!

Only hub bike shop I go to is in brevard, NC
Where is this place you are talking about?
@@MtbFrequentFlyer yes. I went there yesterday it is an amazing shop. I’m new to mountain biking and fell in love with the area.
Hey man! Going to this place soon. Any tips? I've only done a couple small trails in north ga
