It's so soothing to hear a metal band that is this intense, technical, creative, and unique and to also know they are straight edge. I'm sick of these people and bands relying on drugs like pot and LSD for creativity. It's a weak move on a human being's part.
That part of the interview was hilarious. The interviewer just said 'Between the Farting and Me' and then the band look at him like 'WTF are you smoking?'.

OK, and how many interviews have you seen where they are just being themselves? The ones they do with Metal Injection! Thats the whole point of our interviews. Everybody else does serious interviews, but I'd much rather hang out with the band and just have a conversation as opposed to asking the same 10 questions over and over again.

I used to hate this interviewer but I actually enjoy watching him interview BTBAM way more than any other. He's the only guy quirky enough to hang with them and have fun while getting the info the fans want.

no, they were complaining about the guitar tone on Alaska...it doesn't really bother me personally. i've gotten used to it i guess, so whatever. i still think it's a brilliant record regardless.

The Wall was lyrically conceptive where as Colors is musically conceptive... So compairing the two is kinda like comparing an apple and an orange, while they're both fruit they taste different.

okay, alaska was a great album. was the guitar tone perfect? uh, maybe not...but who fucking cares? it's the music that matters. it's between the buried and me. dustie and paul could string first acts with spaghetti noodles and make them sound amazing. people will nitpick anything about a band this good.

The inverviewer is quite annoying at first, but as a long time MI viewer I have found his style to be really good as you get to know him, and learn his humour. He's actually friendly with alot of the bands hes interviewing and there are running "inside jokes" and whatnot which seems unprofessional, but hey hes not getting paid and we dont have to pay to watch it so stop fucking complaining ;)
