I was 28yo when I saw this and it affected me to my core values. to this day (I'm now 45yo) this movie still affects my philosophy. I have great respect for those with the mental discipline to be both physically powerful and mentally stable enough to pull back a killing blow that is seemingly necessary for victory. to be powerful enough to kill anyone, but compassionate and skilled enough to stop oneself from killing; that is the epitome of humanism.
Fearless is definitely one my favorite Jet Li movies
