We use to do the same. Also in the spring we use to make sausage from pork shoulder. I have a grinder attachment to the kitchen side along with a sausage stuffer. I would buy the casings from the meat department at the grocery store. I wonder if they still have that available.

I want to learn how to make sausage, is it hard to do?

@@missannetteslittlefarminth9069 not at all. Grind the meat. Mix in the spices. They put the sausage stuffed attachment on the grinder and remove the blade. Rinse the casings and slide them over the sausage attachment and your ready. It was intimating but once I done it I was ok. I just don’t know where you can get the casings from. In Detroit I got them from the butcher at the fruit markets. Italian markets or German markets. I don’t think you have them here. They come in a sour cream size plastic container and are packed in salt.

I got an extra turkey when they were on sale and we're going to have it on Superbowl Sunday. Then I'll use leftovers for fajitas and Teriyaki turkey and veggies on rice. Just recently tried using ground turkey for lettuce wraps. So good! Maybe you can share some of your ground turkey recipes with us? Have a good day. :)

When turkey is cheap you gotta go for it, sounds like you make the most of it. Thank you for the great idea, I think I will put that on the channel calendar for spring.

I really enjoy your channel but being a plant based eater, this was not my favorite subject. I love all your animals and how you care for them.
