I belong to village in eastern UP, I remember vaguely a family where father attained martyrdom in 1970s, his son in 1997-98 conducting a Rashtriya Rifles CASO, In 2000 two of his cousins joined army and a few years back his only son cleared NDA. Now there is economic factor involved as people get nothing easily here in eastern UP, Bihar or Jharkhand but there is certain pride to it as well, or perhaps they're yet to become "rich" enough, as the communist argue.

This last episode broke everyone’s heart and made everyone cry. However, it is absolutely revealing. The rural villages send young men to the military. Always has. This is also the reality of villages in India. People send their children to the military because the army takes care of their child - feeds, educates and pay them etc. so when the soldier dies, it affects the entire village. The backbone of the Indian Armed Forces lies in such small villages. This is the reality of the village & beautifully depicted.

I agree. Which is why there are two things I don't like:-
      1.) The Agniveer program.
2.) The stepfatherly treatment Infantry gear gets when it comes to modernization of the Army.
I usually agree with almost every move of the current Government, especially when it comes to defence. But I can never support them for point number 1. I agree that pensions are eating away at the funds needed for modernization. But there are other inefficiencies that need to fixed before adopting such drastic measures as the Agniveer scheme.
As for point number 2, things have gotten better since Gen Rawat became COAS, but it is still a far cry from what a nation like India should be able to equip its soldiers with. We are not short of funds to be able to do that. We are just short of organized intent. Penny wise pound foolish. Even though most of the equipment needed for Infantry modernization is now manufactured in India.

I think this is going to be the trigger for Abhishek to study harder and get his dream job, and try and support a village himself or through his company that eventually hires him. Wish the interviews with the cast had subs too. You should hear him out about how difficult it was for him to play out those grieving scenes. This was an award worthy performance from Faisl Malik as Prahlad. Also, the director was question about why he had to end Se02 on a sad note. There's an explanation for that.

I am so glad what they showed in the last episode about our Soldiers. Its very true, majority of our soldiers come from villages, although every Indian respects soldiers, sheds tears fir them when we hear such news; it also explains the more we stay away from our roots the more we lack touch with our motherland country, we definitely feel enraged and upset but again we are spoilt and take things for granted when we come from big cities or towns, and are only looking for conveniences. What saddens and infuriates me is that we loose so many of our soldiers due to terrorists and not in any front wars, i mean we have such a despicable and nuisance neighbour which runs on this agenda of infiltration, factory of terrorism. We have huge border with them, with tremendously challenging terrains and peak whether conditions which is another factor that you cannot always secure every stretch of border. Thus the rampant cases we get, as in its not like terrorists follow any ethics. Much much much indebted snd respect to every soldier and their families, your courage sacrifice is beyond everything. I felt this feeling so awfully close once when one of my friend's classmate martyred while in a terrorist encounter operation, i was not able to fathom what to say to console her and be okay.

The final episode integrates the entire season’s story so well. Each character arc comes to an end at the finale.
Abhishek, who felt very insulted by the MLA, finally had his people stand up for him. His coworkers became his friends, even his family by the end when they stood up for him to someone of such high power. And in the end he was able to be there for them as well.
Rinky’s mom, who we see become more involved with politics and embrace her position as pradhan over the course of the season was assertive and told off the MLA in the end and told him to leave. Which is a very powerful move coming from a woman to a man of power.
I also loved the contrast between Bushan and the MLA. Both were shown as antagonists in this season. We didn’t like either of them but we saw the vast difference between them in the last episode. While the MLA saw the death of Rahul as a photo-op, or just an opportunity to show face, bushan and his wife were shown forgetting their anger and irritation and really being there in the time of grief and you could tell in their faces that they were really sad about the news not just using the opportunity to gain votes for the next election.
The end credit worked perfectly as well, we see Rinky who had just met abhishek at the end of the last season get the news of his transfer. Having it be her to have read it first really points out the friendship that has developed between them this season.

Great to revisit both the seasons with you two... You two do well as a team when its more about subtle humor, drama, non-city based shows. To understand the nuances, pick them up quickly, sometimes not to look through the lens of a city dweller.... The ending is definitely a cliff hanger, is going to get very feisty with the MLA I guess. That's how politics works, to lock horns with the devil means issues. The actors in the series are just so suitable. I always liked Raghuvir Yadav (Chacha Choudhry), I'll always remember him as that, always so energetic, so accurate. I know the show hovers around the 4 main characters, but in this series Neena Gupta's role became much more prominent. I guess she will have a larger role in the upcoming season. And its so good to see series rather than movies. Relationships take time to develop, which is well reflected. The relationship took time to develop between the 4 main characters and is taking time between Sachiv Ji and Rinky. They didn't rush on to portray the relationship between these two.

When a good person tries to do his job with honesty he gets transferred everytime... Corruption in politics is a big challenge India needs to overcome... Politician can transfer and do whatever is convenient to continue their corrupt conduct and are been sabotaging this country's future. Still the old balding jerks run the country with their old stereotypes and biases. Any small job expects lots of things from a common man like good character, no criminal record, educated, etc but there is no rules for politicians. If you look at it, it is not an easy challenge because the politicians could only bring in the rules of eligibility of being a politician, but why would they shut their own gold mine, right?
