Thank you so much. I just started to crochet after my mother passed away last May. She often made this pattern for afghans and baby blankets. I wanted to make a small blanket for my grandson just like the one Mom had made for my son when he was a baby. This pattern was just what I needed since sadly I can't ask my mother to show me.😥 Again, thank you. Easy to follow instructions.

You do only half of the last stitch, pass the new yarn to finish the stitch... ruclips.net/video/LpYYUDdUxx4/видео.html
That video link you sent solved it for me, thank you for replying! Do you have any tutorials for making a cone shape? My daughter asked me if I can make an ear gloves for her furby toy. Maybe I can try with a cone shape. i have just started to learn crochet and I have started watching your videos ^_^ thanks for any help! ^_^
How do you finish off the last row to make it look the the very first row?
You single crochet on each one, without adding or skipping. See that you have the same amount of stitches you started with.
Love the pattern & your instructions. Wondering what kind of crochet hook you"re using. I'd like to get one what size is it. Diane
5mm. H. Please watch video.
I’ve looked at other patterns and they were not as clear as yours. You went into an understanding I was able to follow. The only problem is when I get to the last dc (end) I try to remember the three chain rule for the start of a new row and the ending. Do you go into the chain or go under the chain three from the lower (this is before you chain 3 then turn)?
I go into the chain but I guess picking up the 3 chain loop can't hurt!
Do you only crochet into the second stitch at the beginning?
If I want to make an afghan, how do I finish off last row so that it is straight on top and not shelled
+Debbie Weinstein If you start with 3 (or+) rows of single crochet, to give it body at the base, you do the same at the top. single crochet on every chain 3 (or+) rows.
So I would have crocheted 11 single crochet then ch 3 then turn ?
Sorry, I'm still new at crocheting and still learning new stitches.
Multiple of 6 + 3
How do you end it
can I change two different colors
Yes. At the beginning of a row.
Could I make a vest withshells
Yes!!! It would look very nice
How many stitches do u need for a twin size blanket thank u
Make a swatch and measure how many stitches 4" gives you. Then multiply. It depends on how you crochet, the yarn and hook you use, the size of blanket you want to make...
Please make a swatch and measure. It depends on how you crochet, the yarn and the hook you use.
