Later, an inmate gets infuriated that he doesn't have his phone and a women is detained for attempting to be a prostitute. Plus, a man is arrested for stealing a candy bar and never paying for it.

Well, he might certainly have, but what's a passing grade for Harvard? The same as everywhere else. Doesn't make him special whatsoever. Save your money, go to community college and start with less debt (or even no debt if you go a little slower and work your way through). You'll be miles ahead of the Ivy League babies because daddy paid their way and they have no freaking idea how the world works.

I love how that sergeant was with Josh. He showed real compassion and is how all corrections officers should be like. Shaw from Sarasota Florida is the extreme opposite and an example of why psychological profiles should be mandatory across all states before becoming a correctional officer.

I love the fact that arrestees don't care about their wallets when they come in, their purses, whether the police have towed their cars, whether they're bleeding or how long they'll be in jail. But they do care deeply about their CELL PHONES.
Well, if you think about it, everything people have is on a cell phone: contacts, appointments, bank info, membership cards, all kinds of stuff.
I haven't carried a walled in a decade. No need to anymore. So I totally get that he'd be concerned about his cell as #1 priority.
