Yup we sure did and I think that's why we are the powerhouse of beauty pageant, and in miss universe The Philippines has 9 consecutive years in top 10 placement which means they place in top 10 or higher like top 6 it ended in 2019 it was 2010 to 2018. But most known about the philippines is it's 11 consecutive streak placement which means philippines is placing, in top 20 or 21 or higher this 11 consecutive streak placement has still not ended yet it started in 2010 to 2020 but i still don't know if it will continue because miss universe 2021 is not yet here or started and nobody has been crowned miss universe philippines 2021 the pageant is still coming

Do you know that plastic surgery is needed in South Korea for them to join beauty pageants? They keep doing surgeries yet they can't even win. It's just sad because the beauty standard in Korea is just to high. They don't have proper training for their beauty queens like how to walk with heels.

@@jimmylabastida5177 I know about surgeries, I have heard that in South Korea 1in 2 women have got at least 1 plastic surgery but I didn't knew that we can't enter pageants with plastic surgery, I am grateful to you for telling me about that;)
@@sarabjitkaur_ yes they don't only do 1 surgery to be honest many of them almost change everything. For me I don't see a problem with Korea sending a Korean that had a plastic surgery in beauty pageants. The problem is Koreans don't really support their queens like voting online. In actual pageants you can't really see a Korean flag I'm not saying all don't support many of them don't show support since beauty pageants is not really famous in Korea
This is the misunderstanding people has for the ages......these contests has very little to do with outer beauty....

USA has more crowns than any other country, Venezuela is second in number of crowns but is the only country in history having MU 2 consecutive years and Philippine are like a huge supporter of their queens and having multiple awards in a year. Philippines should focus more on Miss World since it's not only the most prestigious but also the most difficult pageant to win the crown!
I don't think there is a need for the country to "focus" on just one pageant when each one is handled by a different organization and each has different relevant goals and advocacies. And now that there's MWP, MUP, MEP, and the BBP for Miss International, I think this should put the Philippines at an advantage since there's one organisation designated for each Big 4 pageant that will select the best candidates and train them to win + more time and resources for each representative. Besides, the Philippines has already proven itself to be a powerhouse and is already known to be pretty competitive, whether it's in a major competition or just a minor one. You wont be seeing Filipinos focusing on just one, they want to win it all 😅😄
miss world and miss universe ph are managed separately. why not those who managed both pageants focus on their respective pageants. in short, why not focused on both or all the big 4

You have to exclude the dethroned winner of Miss Universe in 2002 also with Miss Earth in 2002. You need to honor Panama and Kenya as the rightful winners since the original winners did not fulfill their duties at that time.
