Thanks for the video! I have a problem when I spray the mod podge sealer my cement absorbs it and leaves little splotchy marks sometimes. It absorbs a lot of it and makes a bad finish.

Thank you for watching! I've had that problem as well with my spray sealer. It can be frustrating to see splotchy marks ruin your piece after all your hard work. The only thing I can recommend is spraying the can a few times before using it to make sure it comes out as a nice mist and make sure not to spray it too close.

Hi. How long does it take to set the cement?

I usually wait 4-5 hours before demolding :)

such beautiful trays, i live in south africa and cement all is not available. Could any type of cement have the same outcome? Or is cement all different? Lol most cements are rough with stones🙆🏽‍♀️

I love hearing where my viewers are from! Thank you so much for watching from South Africa :)
Cement-all doesn’t have large particles in it so I’m not sure what the finished product would look like with cement that has rough stones :( Sorry I couldn’t be more help. You could look into Quikrete or white cement if they carry that at your local hardware store. Maybe they have similar products.

@@joolieshome My pleasure🌸😊thank you for the advice, i tried white cement and it is probably not as durable as concrete is. Let me try the quick Crete that was really helpful🙏🏽 I love your videos such beautiful pieces you make, your doing great🔥

Thank you so much for your kind words! I have my ups and downs with youtube and it can get discouraging at times, but when I read comments like this, it really means so much to me and keeps me going. Thank you ❤
Just wanted to let you know that I actually haven't tried quickcrete myself, but I have seen others use it. This is a video I saw in the past and thought it might work: ruclips.net/video/oxyS0ZeHTyk/видео.html. Hope it works out!

Will it start dissolving if it comes in contact with water many times
    And
How do you seal wht kind of paint spray you use

Hi! That’s a good question. I don’t know if the wax dissolves with contact with water multiple times. I just wipe the tray down with a damp cloth and it doesn’t dissolve, but depending on how you maintain your piece, you may need to seal it again. I use Mod Podge Acrylic spray Sealer on some of my trays as well and that holds up pretty well. Thank you for watching :)
