    Since The Replicated Man quest in Fallout 3 was foreshadowing all of Fallout 4
    I think that if ES6 IS indeed "Project Greenheart", it's possible the Eye of Magnus arch for the Mage College in Skyrim could be foreshadowing ES6
    Valenwood is adjecent to the Summerset Isles, which is close to the Island the Psijic Order is from.
    Also since Summerset is in the middle of them, that would tie in with the Aldmeri Dominion lore

      I refuse to view WatchMojo because after like 4 videos I caught on that he's not even actually a gamer, he lists trivia about games that you can easily find on Google, and whenever he goes to elaborate any further it becomes apparent that he knows almost nothing about the game itself and probably has never even played it. Compared that to gameranx, who genuinely seems legit about every game he talks about. Sure he probably hasn't played every single game he mentions, but I'm willing to bet he's put extensive hours into a good amount of them. Gameranx= real gamer - WatchMojo = fake poser

      "Bad" Side
      -Aldmeri Dominion
      -elsweyr
      -Possibly Valenwood and high rock
      "Good" Side
      -Hammerfell

      In the civil war quest, there's hints from both Tullius and Ulfric that there will be a second Great war against the Thalmor. There's also references about the Thalmor secretly trying to destroy Nirn

    • @TrickyTrickyFox
      @TrickyTrickyFox 7 лет назад +4

      Rick Astley well, during Thalmor embassy party quest the high elve in charge of justiciars kinda tells you that upfront, that this is not a war where both sides were tired and that there will be a second war (I like this source more, because it's: 1 - an elve telling you that, not humans and 2 - it's a part of the main quest). But meh, I guess you can also consider what secondary quest lines provide :)

    • @rickastley4993
      @rickastley4993 7 лет назад +2

      Занудный Лис In one cut-scene where Ulfric and Galmar are talking they talk about a possible Nord-Breton alliance. Galmar also says that he will build up Skyrim's army and take the fight to the elves.Even Tullius says he's not sure about the Armistice between the Empire and Thalmor.

    There's another bit of foreshadowing in Morrowind. The Bloodmoon expansion lets you talk to a soothsayer who will predict your future. If you talk to them at the beginning of the expansion they'll talk about Hircine and the expansion's main quest.
    But, if you talk to them after finishing Bloodmoon, they'll say: "When the dragon dies, the Empire dies. Where is the lost dragon's blood, the Empire's sire? And from the womb of the void, who shall stem the blood tide?." (Copying the text from the UESP wiki.)

    The number 1 fact is you can complete the game in the first mission: after escaping prison through the sewer go to the centre of the city to the building in the middle of the district where the final mission takes place (can't remember which one). Spam running into the corner of the door and you glitch inside the empty building. Turn round and you see a glitched door halfway in the floor. If you walk into it opens the final mission. Leave the building and you see the daedra attack everything. If you enter again you have a brief conversation with martin septim and the final cutscene is launched. You saved tamriel - xbox 360 achievement! (There is a video of this somewhere on youtube perhaps called how to break oblivion? Can't remember).

    Limbo of the Lost is one of the strangest stories in gaming. Not only did it steal 99% of it's graphical content from other games and movies but it also somehow took 14 years to develop and release.
    Development for the game began in 1993 with a planned release for the Atari ST and Amiga 500 with a demo being shown at game conventions in 1995. 8 years after the demo was shown, because those old systems were no longer relevant the game development was moved to PC in 2003. 4 years later the game was released in 2007 in Europe and 2008 in the US.

      I painted my Kaldor Draigo entirely purple and in my gaming group we all agree that he is played by Samuel L. Jackson. because he's the most bad ass motherfuckucker alive. not because he's fucking black.
      Also, fwould make a great protoss voice I think.

    • @PhyreI3ird
      @PhyreI3ird 7 лет назад +1

      I... I dunno. I think he's done other good works, but the temptation would be FAAR too real for everyone to make the character lines "Samuel L Jackson" lines including all his fucking *_AMAZINGLY_* bombastic and badass shouting, cussing and other such craziness 😆
      Even still I think if it was more than like two Npcs at most it would break immersion and make everyone - or at least _a lot_ of people - all "Oh my god!! ITS SAMUEL L JACKSON!!!" Every time one of his characters spoke. They did great with Patrick Stewart, so maybe if they kept it to one character they would do good.

    Here's a fact for you: In TES: Arena, you can ask random npcs for rumours, and sometimes they'll tell you that "They say Morrowind is doomed to wither away from plague and pestilence this year or next. My opinion is good riddance.". When taken into context, it is a foreshadowing of one of the main plot-points of Morrowind, the plague and pestilence being the The Blight unleashed by Dagoth Ur. What's more, in Arena you get to go to Red Mountain (called Dagoth Ur in-game), and fight a vampire inside its cave system. 'Ash Vampires' are a thing in Morrowind, and the two games are set just some 10-20 years apart.
    Another fact: both Arena and Oblivion have a similar basic premise in which Uriel Septim VII is attacked by a mage in service to Mehrunes Dagon, and the protagonist - a prisoner in the Imperial Dungeon - has to save the world.
    It's obvious that Bethy didn't intend to foreshadow anything at that point, but it's clear that they took inspiration from Arena when making the next couple of games in the series.

    There was also an Easter Egg in Bloodmoon that foretold the events of Oblivion. Oddfrid White-Lip says, "When the dragon dies, the Empire dies. Where is the lost dragon's blood, the Empire's sire? And from the womb of the void, who shall stem the blood tide?" This is from the Sad Seer quest. She offers to tell you a prophecy of the future, and if you've completed Bloodmoon's Main Quest, this is what she says. If not, she makes a reference to the final Bloodmoon mission. This is obviously referencing the main story of Oblivion. When the dragon dies, the Empire dies=Emperor dies, war comes. Where is the lost dragon's blood, the Empire's sire?=Yo, where Sean Bean at? And from the womb of the void, who shall stem the blood tide?=Who gonna fight all dem daedras from Oblivions, y'all? True story.

      Well, see it as brand staple. It's a little trick of marketing business too. YOu hear those notes, you KNOW you recognize it and start to think, nostalgia kicks in, and soon you might find yourself on the hypetrain for a new game.
      Alas, Metal gear did the same thing, taking a song and re-arranging intruments for the next release, quite a good idea, actually.

    In Skyrim General Tulius says that there is another war coming between the Empire and the Elves, and in skyrim Bathesda did include a couple of battlles and sieges, like the siege of whiterun and solitude, so what if in the next game they go all out on sieging cities like in Mount and Blade: Warband, it would make sense to include siege engines and massive siege battles since thats what they wanted for skyrim but did not really include that much of because of hardware limitations.

    • @raziel6304
      @raziel6304 7 лет назад +2

      Unless they actually make a new engine capable of running those siege scripts, i dont think so. And they REALLY love that engine i tell you, same one since morrowind with some little tweaks, even fallout 4 is using Skyrim's engine.

    Why do the weapons in Oblivion look 1000 x more realistic than the jokes they call weapons in Skyrim? Did anyone else feel like they were swinging around paddles when they were given imperial swords or feel like the hand grips covered in serrated spikes were unnecessary design characteristics for the elvish weapons? And talk about that hooked pommel on the Deidric weapons that is never put to use. It was talked about in great length on another youtubers channel and I never thought much about it until he picked them apart but they are so...ugly. About the only weapons that have realistic proportions and designs are the iron weapons, the ebony and maybe some of the bone weapons, the rest were just too silly looking and illogical (even though we are dealing with a fantasy world, I still like some realism).
    But thank god for mods that fix these issues!!

    • @insertname1667
      @insertname1667 7 лет назад +1

      Benjamin Landgren the Elven handles aren't actually covered in spikes (or aren't suppose to be) that's just what happens when you zoom really closely on pixels, they're never exactly the shape that you were after close up.

    I would not put it past Bethesda to think that far ahead with the book in Redguard. They hinted at the setting and release date of Fallout 4 IN FALLOUT 3. There was a timetable in a metro station which said that train no. 2015 was going from DC to Boston.

    Oblivion plot was also revealed in Sad Seer quest in Morrowind's Bloodmoon DLC. When you finnish the quest, the giver offers to tell you your future.
    "Geilir the Mumbling couldn't tell my future, but Oddfrid did tell him about something else. He said that when the dragon dies, the Empire dies. He also said something about the lost dragon's blood and the Empire's sire, and the stemming of a blood tide. Geilir said it was all very cloudy, and does not refer to me directly."

    I think that oblivion was planned. Most games start with little small idea fragments. They probably thought of the name way before they had any real game plan.

    • @Hedmanification
      @Hedmanification 7 лет назад +1

      Right? The lore was already done, even tough it has expanded greatly since morrowind, they must've had tons of games ideas at different eras, before they settled on Oblivion as their next game.

    • @jadenkor9
      @jadenkor9 7 лет назад +2

      Not to mention, Bethesda takes years to make a game. I believe it was six years to make Skyrim after Oblivion was done. So, it doesn't really surprise me that they already had the idea, they were probably already working on Oblivion.

    Oblivion is far better than Skyrim in my opinion. Story, world, soundtrack, all of those are way better in Oblivion. Animation wise, sure Skyrim rules that department. I think all those who think Skyrim is better, most likely played Skyrim first. Of course Oblivion, Morrowind, Daggerfall etc etc will feel inferior if you start with the most recent game. Even after playing Oblivion for hundreds and hundreds of hours, when walking down a path, I can just stare into the wood and, just want to go there. Explore.. In Skyrim after the first or second playthrough it's like... meh.. just fast travel.

    Good times...
    I remember... Dungeon quest by investigating a family legacy, reach the deepest crypt, pick up and read a journal, realize that the writer is hundreds of years old, realize that vampires live hundreds of years, get attacked by the writer of the journal who is a vampire, kill him, wear his enchanted greaves like a champion. One of many great memories...

    It’s not a coincidence, they most likely plan lore really really really ahead of the game releases. I wouldn’t be surprised if skyrim was written all the way back with daggerfall
